A/C Wifi repeater - any safety issues?

I'm sure i'm being overly paranoid, but thought I'd check.

Just got one of <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Diamond-Multimedia-Wireless-Extender-WR300N/dp/B005D5M136/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1332009584&sr=8-3">these</a> wifi repeaters. Man, does it boost the signal in my office, which is what I needed. Lots of juice coming out of that thing.

I know wifi is, in general, safe.

The catch is, the only location I found that works well is directly next to our baby's crib. Her head will be just a couple feet away from it when she's sleeping.

Any concerns there, not necessarily with the wifi, but the Big AC box too?

I'd rather not rearrange all the furniture in there if it's unnecessary and this house is very limited when it comes to the number of AC outlets available.

You don't have to worry about the wireless waves of course. But yeah, check the A/C box, look it up online to see if there are any issues, recalls, etc. stuff like that. Other than that, I don't see any issue.

I don't plug anything in close to a baby's crib or between a kid's bed and the wall. I probably wouldn't plug in any broadcasting type of thing close to an infant either, but I tend to err on the side of caution.

No different from those baby monitors that uses the 2.4ghz or dect.
