The Ultimate Goldbergs Collection for $29.99 from UCLA
Don't know how much interest remains for this set.
Missed an opportunity to pick it up earlier this year as a closeout, but found it super cheap from the UCLA Film & Television Archive. I haven't posted enough to include a link, but Googling it should get you there. That's how I found it.
6 disc for only $29.99 (plus shipping - $4, I think)! Plus, they mailed it lightning fast. It got a great review here at DVDTalk (Collector's Series). Hope the tip is a good one!

It's a great set and well worth $30.

Thanks for the tip, Silver Surfer ! Didn't know UCLA even sold anything(and it appears only to be this series, and the film The Prowler, correct?)

Surfer, thanks for posting this deal.
I know it's a good set and a great price, but I can't pull the trigger on it. I wouldn't mind sampling it and the extras, but owning it doesn't seem all that appealing. My chief reasoning is that I find most old time RADIO comedy shows to be unbearable, yes even such historically significant stalwarts as Jack Benny and George Burns. I just never find them to be funny and are often so cornball when measured against the humor of the last 40 years that they are a chore to listen to compared to the dramas which I do enjoy.
An exception to this for me is OZZIE AND HARRIET, both in radio and TV, something I find consistently inventive and funny. But is THE GOLDBERGS, also adapted from a popular radio show, along those lines? I don't know and won't take the chance for $30.

Never heard of this, but I am intrigued. I'm going to research it further. I never knew UCLA had archive releases...

It appears that this is the only title UCLA sells directly. The Prowler is the only other title listed and the link takes you to Amazon.com.
Back to the Goldbergs set - if you have even a passing interest in early TV history, this set is worth it. The only thing that would have made it better is if they had included the documentary Yoo-Hoo Mrs. Goldberg - but even so, this is a treasure trove.
