Game comes out May 15th. Haven't heard anything about this game till now. Not a good sign. The tailer makes it look like Skyrim a bit.

Game of Thrones RPG art book free with pre-order

Atlus is offering a swell preorder bonus to would-be fans of the upcoming game based on HBO series Game of Thrones. With your advance purchase, you'll receive a hardbound art book entitled Game of Thrones: Visuals from the RPG, a full 64 pages of various illustrative materials from the making of the game, including screenshots, renders, photos, and sketches, all accompanied by commentary from the developers. The book will be available in limited quantities and only from retailers Amazon, EB Games, Gamestop, and the HBO Store.

I didn't notice any gameplay so I am not sold. I think a Skyrim -like RPG in the Game of Thrones universe would be awesome but I don't have high hopes for this.

Yeah, I'd love nothing more than a great Game of Thrones RPG, but I'm very skeptical about this. Here's hoping!

the faces at about 1:50 on...the quick flashes..look like something from a game 10 years ago...

That one at 1:53 looks like Martin.

Doesn't look too special, but if I can run around Westeros I'll be pretty happy. I'm not big on open-world games any more, but this is one I'd love to be able to explore. (though I'm guessing with the parallel plotlines thing you probably won't really be able to)

well I am playing this...game sucks a bit, combat is sort of ok, but weird...but the story is actually really good...it is keeping me playing just to see how it turns out...and it is a lot of fun seeing it mixed into the first book without changing anything...Fans of the book/show might really enjoy this if they can get past the below average game mechanics...

I played it when it was first released and enjoyed it too. I was glad that it was just a rental, though.

This has terrible reviews but most people seem to agree that the story is interesting. I picked up the art book for $15 on eBay. I guess it's inevitable I'll pick up the game at some point too (my wife and I are both big fans).

Edit: I think I am going to pass and put the Hitman trilogy on pre-order. Too much this week between two blu-ray boxsets (Universal Monsters & POTA). But still really good deal.
