So I'm trying to get with the 2010's and started a twitter account. So I started following a couple Chuck people when the series was ending. I noticed they were retweeting messages from fans. Is there a way to send a tweet to people who don't follow you? Is there a way to check on tweets on particular subjects instead of people?
Sorry for the basics but I'm not really sure I'm into this social media phenomenon. I started a facebook account and find it quite annoying for the most part to be honest. The only thing I like is following my sister-in-law and he family who are out of town. Everything else is from people I see anyway. Not sure of the need.
I digress. Any basics on Twitter would be appreciated.
PS. I did try reading an FAQ but didn't get much from it.
