I submit, that it is impossible to have more bitching in the SNL thread. It has reached maximum bitchosity.

I'm covering this show on Friday night at Terminal 5 for Bowery Presents. Friday night marks the launch of the Bowery's streaming channel for Terminal 5 shows. I think they are only doing a couple of shows a month, but you can watch the Sleight Bells set on Friday night, live, at 10:30pm at the following link:

Just click "Watch Live Here".
If you see a short chubby guy in the photo pit during the first 3 songs, thats me. Screencap that for me :)

Thanks Ayre!
I was just listening to Comeback Kid on Spotify yesterday, wondering when the album would show up. :)
Also, maybe I'm special, but I didn't have to sign up to get to the page. Playing the first (live?) track now...

My buddies and I watched the stream from the show last Saturday The Kills did there, it was good stuff. Will definately be checking out the Sleigh Bells one.
As for the new album, I am dissapointed that they took their foot off the gas a little so to speak, but I can still live with the results.

Been listening to it this week and it's just not clicking with me. There isn't a single stand-out track.

I can't agree with this, I do enjoy the album. However, as I listen I can't help but think of songs from the debut. Those songs had an immediate punch that this album lacks.

I think it's pretty awful. Then again, I wasn't really a fan of the first one, either .

I'm enjoying this album quite a bit, but it's definitely not as great as Treats.

I agree with most of the replies here. I got the new album the day it came out and I don't even think I've listened to it in its entirety. It's a bit too mellow. I even have the new album and the old one on my computer and yet I still only listen to the first CD. They better make their third album worth listening to.

I finally bought "Treats" last weekend after intending to do so for about 6 months or so and I love it. I will probably pick up the new one this weekend
