We were oh so close to having Jim go to jail for poisoning Dwight...
Some funny bits, particularly with Ryan being made a fool.

A bunch of funny bits but again the story just fell flat. Seems to be the theme of the season.
I did get a good chuckle out of the cold open. Even into it's 8th season this show nails the open almost every time. Ryan trying to get Erin in bed was hilarious.
Dwight telling the EMTs to arrest Jim made me think of these threads.

Between the British Chick and Dwight (didn't they basically do this same storyline in The Injury) it was pretty boring. The cold open was by far the best 2 or 3 minutes of the show.

The whole episode was a mess. Dwight apparently sneaking out of the hospital three hours after having an appendectomy to go back to a preposterously senseless meeting that seems to have no point other than to allow all the characters to act like idiots? Riiiight. This is why I have grown so exasperated with this show over the years - these (increasingly frequent) sharp left turns from focusing on somewhat believable characters and situations (at least for the TV sitcom world) to being outright retarded.

I thought the episode was kind of a mess but it was still a lot of fun IMO. The British chick was annoying but I guess that was the point. Seeing her horrible management style makes me feel bad for people with bosses like that.
Vacation Stanley alone made this episode worthwhile.

I'm surprised at the negativity for this one. I laughed a lot, moreso than I have in awhile
Also, I think the Catherine Tate character is meant to be abrasive, polarizing and obnoxious, which is why I found it funny that she had somehow ended up as head of Special Projects for Sabre. It's the Peter Principle in action. Sure, I don't find her a likeable character, but I appreciate the weirdness she brings.
