Hawaii... a former leper colony built on an active volcano and where the disappointing finale of Lost was filmed. Mahalo for nothing Hawaii.

Wasn't Bernadette also a waitress at "The Cheesecake Factory" or is that one of those things you are not supposed to remember like Richie Cunningham's older brother?
Also, my recording cut off when Bernadette and Howard were in the car at the end talking about the pre-nup. Did anything worthwhile or funny happen there?

I laughed a lot. Especially liked the Lost callback and I love how they're continuing to make Raj effeminate.

Forgot about that, but you are totally right. Unless highly paid scientists get off on shlepping food at the cheesecake factory...

I was thinking a good portion of the episode they should just trick Sheldon into a vacation. Say some fact about some tourist location what Sheldon disagrees on but insist on it so he has to go there to prove it. An example I had was saying a Vegas casino has only 1000 light bulbs on the sign. Sheldon says there are 2000. Annoy Sheldon about it so he takes a trip there to count the bulbs himself to prove he is right. So he sort of has a vacation if only to prove he is right.

I believe she worked there until she got her PHD and so now she doesn't have to work there anymore. They had an entire episode on it and how she was going to get paid a lot more than Howard and she was his sugar mama.

The show must be more forgetable than I ever imagined. This only happened in last season's final episode - The Roommate Transmogrification!

The "Lost" line got a pretty big reaction from the audience during the first take, but it appears they didn't use it in the final version. Same for the "We had a meeting" bit from Penny.
The opening scene was filmed quite a few times (three is usually the norm) and was slightly adjusted for Parsons. It originally opened with him laughing uncontrollably and then introducing the mad lib thing.
Watching the hallway scene being filmed was impressive because it's the same set that's redressed to give the illusion that Penny/Leonard are walking down three flights of stairs.
Overall, took about 2.5-3hrs to film the episode. Best time I ever had.
Hopefully the bloopers end up on the S5 gag reel.

It's nice to see Sheldon not be the expert on something for a change.
It seems like the last few episodes they're loosening the Sheldon character up in a slightly similar way they did with Amy. With Amy it was a good idea, but I don't think Sheldon should stray much from his robotic unfeeling personality - his character doesn't work any other way.

The character of Sheldon has undergone a change since the beginning. When the show started, he was a super genius who was clueless in human interaction. Now, he's someone who is inept in EVERYTHING outside of his own field, but has even been shown up several times in that too.
