Synopsis:

Mark Pellegrino (Supernatural) Guest Stars

"The Blue Butterfly" - When Castle and Beckett investigate the killing of a treasure hunter, they discover the case is linked to a mysterious homicide from 1947 involving a hard-boiled private detective. Castle realizes the only way to solve the present-day murder is to solve the murder from the past. The 1947 case comes to life through stylized flashbacks, featuring Castle as the private eye and Beckett as a femme fatale, on "Castle," MONDAY, FEBRUARY 6 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Very fun episode. Too bad all of the accents used in the flashbacks were so horrible and utterly unnecessary.

Agreed on the horrendous accents. Stana looked good, though.

I love this show, but I didn't really like this episode. I didn't think the Noir aspect of this episode really worked, especially using the current characters playing those roles. Honestly, it was kind of a chore getting through this hour.

Nathan and Stana did look good in their 1940's attire.

I am looking forward to the 2-parter next week.

And yes, the accents were horrible.
