Blimey! Pythons reunite for sci-fi (CGI) movie.

Voice over for CGI characters in a "sci-fi farce", but should be interesting nonetheless.

And now for something completely different! Pythons reunite for sci-fi movie

The Monty Python team are ready to reunite for a Hollywood film.

Terry Jones said John Cleese, Michael Palin and Terry Gilliam had agreed to lend their voices to his science fiction comedy Absolutely Anything, while Eric Idle was in talks.

The live action film centres on a man who becomes the plaything of a group of aliens who give him the power to do anything.

The Pythons will be the voices of the aliens, which will be created by computer special effects.

Comedy star Robin Williams is also expected to join the cast and voice a talking dog character called Dennis.

The Pythons last appeared together in 1998 at the Aspen Comedy Festival along with an urn containing the ashes of late member Graham Chapman.

Jones, who will direct the film, said: ‘It’s not a Monty Python picture, but it certainly has that sensibility.’

Jones has written the script with Gavin Scott having worked on it over the last 20 years.

The film is being produced by Mike Medavoy who was behind the Oscar winning 'Black Swan.'

He said: 'Terry and Gavin have crafted a classic farce - something I feel I know a little bit about after all the 'Pink Panther' pictures we did with Blake Edwards at United Artists.

'In fact, the movie even has a pompous Frenchman reminiscent of Inspector Clouseau - but there the similarity ends. Like all projects originated by any of the Monty Python guys, "Absolutely Anything" delightfully defies a logline.'

The TV comedy series 'Monty Python's Flying Circus' was first screened on the BBC in 1969 and ran for 45 episodes until 1974.

They were last seen together in a film in 1983's 'The Meaning of Life'. They also starred together in two other successful film 'Life of Brian' and 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail.'

Hmmm... I like this thread better. It seems more "comfy" somehow.

Yes. I will see it. I won't assume that it will be good, though.

Sorry I missed this thread (Bad Bando!) I, for one, can't wait for this.
