Synopsis:

Spoiler:
"Makin' Changes!" - Jane convinces Penny to stop changing herself for every guy she dates, and instead to change the guy to suit her needs. Penny's first experiment is Jeff (guest star Ryan Hansen), a slacker who is 30 going on 20. Meanwhile, when Brad overhears Jane bragging to Penny about how she completely made him over after they met, he rebels, and starts walking, talking and dressing like his college-era self. And Alex and Max stage an "in-T-vention" to stop Dave from his obsession with v-necked T-shirts, on "Happy Endings," WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 18 (9:31-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Alex: a bakers dozen... So 13.

The look on Alex's face when she said that was priceless. Looks like they're hitting their stride with the Alex character and Elish Cuthburt is doing a great job.

The Blackass bit was great too.

All three storylines were hilarious, but Jane really made the episode.

great episode!

I also enjoyed the freeze frame ending and callback to the baker's dozen joke (cuthbert's facial expression).

her comment about wanting a last name like a cookie (Alyssa Milano) was hilarious

That got a good laugh from me. I thought the intervention was pretty funny. All in all, as everyone said, all the storylines were really working this episode. There was a lot of funny stuff in this one.

I've felt for a while now that Elisha Cuthbert is the secret weapon on this show. She has the lamest role, but she still finds a way to work it.

Agreed. She could easily be the "normal" one but she's just as crazy as the rest of them. And sells some great jokes

They've really expanded the "Alex is an idiot" jokes this season, and i'm liking it. Because they don't play her as a straight up dumbass, they subtly slip things in. Loved the baker's dozen jokes, and the "let's say it at the same time" joke from this episode.

I think one of the strong aspects of this show is how you could pair off any of the 2 characters, and the plot will work (even the "Brad and Alex have nothing in common" storyline worked). They all work well together.

I really loved Black Ass... This show is really hitting its stride. Its the one sitcom I look forward to watching each week now.

I like that Alex has sort of fallen into the sidekick role. She was actually the sidekick of a sidekick this week.
