Took me 25 minutes to realize this was a homage to "Rear Window"
I was like, hey, this seems familiar...haha
pretty good episode. Not enough ass kicking though.

This was an awesome episode.
Very cool that it was an homage to Rear Window. The ratings for this episode were the best of the season.
I liked that it picked up right where the last episode left off. at Finch taking Reese to the Coroner and then throwing a wad of cash at him to fix Reese.
Lots of cool twists in this episode. I think they did a good job making the viewer think that Batista was a bad Person of Interest through most of the episode. That was an interesting twist that the guy from the photo was actually the stalker.
Even though Reese was in a wheel chair most of the episode, he was pretty badass. The fight scene with the stalker was pretty cool and loved him throwing the guy out the window.
Also, they gave alot of good back story with the machine. I'm also glad they are making Carter more important to the Finch and Reese.
I think the show is really finding it's groove now.
Noticed the episode was directed by one of JJ's guys from Lost Stephen Williams.
C'Mon guys this is a good show. I wish more people in this forum would give it a shot and not hate on it because they think it's just another boring Crime Drama.

Definitely one of my favorite new shows. However if you're a regular viewer, you should know by now that when the writers go out of there way to make a "suspect" look bad, he's usually not. Did you really think the "super" was digging a grave or that he hired someone to deliver roses he cut from the apartment grounds?

I don't know if it was unintentional writing, but I got a laugh when they said Trask or Machado was originally from Miami. It would have been funnier if they said he was a former cop.

Another good ep.. I like the role reversals where poor Finch is sent out into the field...
oh and of course that self defense peep talk about just going for the eyes..
Finch "Wait, so your technique is to poke them in the eye?"
Reese "No, that's your technique"
I have to say, I really sold Michael Emerson who plays Finch a little short as an actor before this show started.. I figured as a fan of Lost I would not really be able to see him in another role but all I see now is him as Finch..

I liked it. Loved him fighting the guy on crutches.

Batman and Alfred now have their Jim Gordon in the form of Detective Carter.
Love this show, glad 'the people' chose it as their favorite new drama series as well.
Lots of hints in the flashbacks like Finch's partner becoming a suspect by the Machine right at the episode's end as they walk out.

Great episode. Loved the homage to Rear Window and the nice Glengarry Glen Ross quote. This episode gave up a lot of info with the flashbacks.
I still beleive this is the best new show of 2011/2012 season.

I haven't watched an episode in months, and caught this one by chance.
I kept thinking 'this show has really found its legs' as I watched. It seems to have come together since I last watched. I had only watched like three episodes from when it first started, but it's noticeably more 'together' now.

It just knows what it wants to be and isn't trying to hide it or pretend to be anything else.

Very solid episode, my favorite so far.
There were a few interesting hints in this episode that stuck out to me. Reese stating that line about, "Admit it there is no computer, it's you," and then Finch stating in the flashback that he was going to encrypt the machine in a way no one could break made me wonder if Finch is more connected with the machine than we know.
Could it be that Finch has augmented himself as the "key" to the machine? That the two must work together to unveil the numbers? Is that why he knows so much more than Reese or anyone could find out themselves? Could this be where his limp originates from?
And I thought it was clear they set up his old partner as his arch-nemesis.
Lovin' it!
