Synopsis:

Spoiler:
"Infamy" - Emily sets her sights on a new target when a famed author who has deep ties with both the Graysons and the Clarkes returns to town; Conrad proves how dirty he's willing to get when Daniel gets dragged into the divorce; Jack finally let's his guard down with Amanda; and a stunning revelation is unveiled and becomes a game changer for Emily and the Graysons, on "Revenge," WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 11 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Episode 12 of 22

Now with Tyler out of the way, hopefully we're back on track to Emily taking care of business.

With next week being the end of the original 13 episode order, we ought to be frighteningly close to the end of all the "backstory" flashback that started after Daniel was murdered during his wedding reception in the first ten minutes. They have a scary amount of ground to cover...

I've heard that the back-9 order came so early that the writers were able to tweak a few things so that episode 15 will be the episode that was originally planned for #13.

I nailed Charlotte being her sister months ago. Fuck yeah!

Judging by the timeline...is it possible Victoria's daughter is actually Amanda's (half) sister? She seems about the right age from when her father was arrested, so it's possible Victoria was pregnant shortly after. Would be an interesting twist.

Glad we got back to an episode with Emily causing some revenge! And I liked how they were able to work Amanda into her revenge plot.

That's more like it! Great episode.
Emily's stone cold when it comes to the people who wronged her dad.

It has been a while since I saw the pilot, but do we actually know that Daniel was murdered? I remember we saw him after he was shot, but I don't remember seeing him actually die.

Indeed. I wonder if that might soften Emily's need for revenge against Victoria. Eh, probably not. That also explains Victoria's comments about her daughter.

I just watched it again last night and he gets shot and collapses on the beach and then two directly in the back right by his spine. They could fudge it because we didn't see the bullets enter, or his heart stop....but he doesn't look good.

Thanks for that. Yeah, I remember it not looking good for him. Of course, you never know what these soaps might throw at you sometimes ...

Well I remember reading an article in Entertainment Weekly that [spoiler]the back 9 was originally supposed to be
Spoiler:
a murder trial tied to the pilot episode.
Maybe I implied the TYPE. I haven't re-watched the pilot since it aired.

Great episode AGAIN! It is just such hilariously juicy! I hope it doesn't fall apart like Desperate Housewives after S1.

Re: Revenge -- "Infamy" -- 1/11/12

Now we're back to business

Loved it. Loved how cold Emily was and Amanda did a great job as her sidekick.

And Good God Amanda is such a tease. If Amanda wasn't involved with Jack, I bet she would have provided more than just a kiss for that hot horny blonde girl.

at the reporter watching his house burn down. Emily is ruthless.

Like the twist with Charlotte being the half sister. Congrats to Gizmo for calling that.

Well, Amber Valletta did survive that fall and was up and at 'em a couple of days later.

That's a good point. I just have higher hopes for this show that the "shocking" moment that started everything off isn't completely negated because Daniel survives. Also I really hope Emily's father isn't still alive for the same reason. I think the show is better than that.
