Synopsis:
Spoiler:
Got caught up with this over the break.
The plots are getting more compelling now and are a little more serialized.

Is no one watching this hsow anymore?
I thought last night's episode was great, I love the tension in the firm and the bickering was pretty funny. The ploy to alienate Wendy Scott Carr from all the judges in the county was pretty good.

Great episode.
Eli Gold was comedy. Loved him freaking out about possibly paying the $1.2M in a settlement. His bickering with David was hilarious.
I'm sure that David slipped the rider in the paperwork for Alicia to sign, but I doubt it will bite them in the ass in the future since this case looks pretty much settled after those photos turned up.
at Will getting served twice in this episode.
Good to see Bryan Brown. It's funny everything I've seen him in since I first saw him in FX years ago he's always kept his thick Aussie accent. I don't think I've ever seen him act with an American accent.
Elsbeth is a very quirky character. For those who don't know, Carrie Preston is married to Michael Emerson from Person of Interest.

There was over 10 hours of shows on Sunday. It's understandable that stuff isn't going to get watched right away. Plus, there are alot of lurkers in this forum who do watch the shows and read these threads, but just don't have anything to say. It doesn't mean that noone is watching. Hell, I just got caught up with The Good Wife 2 weeks ago over the Holiday hiatus.

Finally watched the episode and it was the usual high quality. I really, really love every scene with Eli in it, his freak out over having to pay up was just hilarious. Elsbeth is growing on me at first I couldn't get over how completely scattered the character is but her professional competence and ruthlessness makes up for it.

This was an awesome episode!
Loved the tension throughout, the relief when the document was found, Cary coming through, Elspeth doing her thing.
Alicia: Are you looking for a lawyer?
Will: I might be.
Alicia: Too bad there are none here...
Thanks, Djariya, for identifying Bryan Brown. I knew F Murray Abraham but started to doubt myself because he doesn't seem to be credited anywhere online, and I didn't see him among the guest stars.

I think the investigation on Will is more than a little forced/contrived - I mean, he really hasn't done anything wrong at all. Why should he be worried so much?

I think it's more or less Peter getting revenge on Will for sleeping with Alicia during separation, since he's in charge of the investigation.

That's why Peter started the investigation but Carr told Will she's really after Peter. The investigation into Will is just a stepping stone to get to Peter.

TGW had its highest ratings in over a year. I guess we can thank our lord savior Tim Tebow. Good episode as well.

I must have missed something but how did Eli Gold start working at the firm? Is he a lawyer? What is he doing there exactly?

Alan Cumming signed a 3-year contract with the show, so he will be around until at least season 5 if the show makes it that far.

Catching up on a bunch of episodes since last year, still 2 to go..
This was a great episode, mostly made great by the lack of Peter and Cary and the other SSA.
I get that they have to create -fake drama- but the constant battles between them are ridiculous.
I always loved Philly, I love this show, and love all of the different characters they have as judges. but the States Attorney's office crew drag it all down. And especially the chick that lost to Peter.
