Bring on the Dookies! ;) In all honesty, given the relative performances so far, Lehigh should be the Patriot League placeholder, but Lunardi is likely going highest RPI right now for the one-bid conferences (that have ties or haven't started conference play yet).

The striking thing about this is how socialist it looks. The power-6 conferences with only 31 of the 68 slots. Hope that holds up or comes close. To compare, last year, they held 36 of the slots.

Thanks. I just looked online and it'll be on ESPN3, which used to be ESPN360 and means it'll be streaming to my XBOX. I really try to avoid the sportsbooks if I can -- I'm a little asthmatic and the cigar smoke usually makes me pretty sick after an hour or more.

I know....it was pretty obviously late as the light came on with it in his hands.

And Goddamn Draymond Green needs to get his shit together and stop believing all the hype he gets. He makes WAY too many mistakes every game and then gacked two free throws to even make that possible. Captains don't do that.

I too was at the Georgetown game last night, but I didn't make it up on the jumbotron, they don't show us upper class people in the suites. What a great game, both teams played their hearts out. Marquette was a much faster team but Georgetown was physical and faught back.

If I was motivated enough, I would want to find out when the last time was that Duke played a non-conference road game in a campus venue (not counting the situation of the B1G Challenge when it's out of their hands). But that would take a lot of motivation because I have to think it's been a very long time.

BuddhaWake

i don't think it happens a lot for duke but I think that is both schools (money grab from both I imagine) thankfully the atmosphere wasn't horrible and we had our own court and not the sixers or nova who normally play there. It was cool that the players took the subway down to the stadium and walked the 2 blocks in the cold from the subway station to the wells fargo center. used to do that all the time to go to games from Temple (sixers, a10, soccer games) now i walk since i'm much closer.

they've probably done one since, but I know they did play @ Michigan in December of 2008 - a true road game, not the B1G challenge. Michigan won, avenging a loss a few weeks earlier against Duke in NYC in one of those tourneys

coming from a complete limited sports knowledge assclown such as yourself, that's a compliment, so thanks. No - that distinction belongs to Wazzu, who lost to Utah (RPI #292, 2-10 coming in) last night. I thought Utah might go winless in the Pac 12, crappy as it is, but here they go and start out 1-0.

That would be Washington, not Washington St. Easy mistake to make, you don't have to look far to find an embarrassing loss on any Pac-12 team's resume. Although you do have to look pretty far to find a quality win.

Funny that the announcers don't realize it either until two minutes after the end of the game.

I thought the funniest part of it was that even with a 6 on 5 advantage, LA-Laff still played 1 on 5 and they beat them. They clearly didn't need the 6th man.

I was talking to an old friend today and apparently that happened to Bucknell in the 80s in a game at St. Francis-PA.

You're right. That's exactly the play the Lakers would run in the final seconds of a tie game if they had six men on the court.
