Thank you! I was actually thinking of buying a couple of them with promotional credits I have. This is even better!

You can get the first episode free on Vudu too. I can get 5.1 sound from Vudu and their 'HD' quality, but my service isn't good enough for their HDX. Amazon only has 5.1 on their highest-level 'HD' quality which I also can't get.

Is that show any good? They were promo'ing the hell out of it at SDCC, but I haven't watched it.

Do you like period dramas like Mad Men?

It's not a fluffy stewardess show as some thought it would be. I think it's actually a pretty decent show with some really attractive ladies and they try to incorporate a little U.S. history into it.

Yeah it's free, but if your not interested in watching, then what's the point just having it just for the sake of doing so?

Because someone else might want to watch it, friends or family.

Turns out the whole season is also free on Vudu right now, heard it is on iTunes also. I always grab free content from Vudu or Amazon even if I don't care about it, always gives me something to watch later when in doubt.

I think watchers who were involved with Pan Am squawked about how unreal it was. My Father was a Pan Am pilot for 30 years and he looked like a pilot. These yahoos look like Abercrombe models. So I am thinking it will get more real the more people complain.

Re: Pan Am (ABC) -- The 1st 9 episodes -- Free on Amazon Instant Video

That's kind of how most shows look. Everyone is pretty much beautiful unless they're supposed to be ugly, in which case they'll be extremely ugly. Unless it's an ugly person that's going to turn beautiful. In that case, they're beautiful but wearing glasses. Females will also have their hair tied until the transformation.

On the other hand, the show takes place in the 60s when they had thin attractive people working there. Back before the fat ones complained when they got fired for not fitting down the aisle.

That's so true on many shows!
