Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Elam's life hangs in the balance, leaving Cullen with a monumental decision to make. Meanwhile, Durant risks his financial fortune, and Lily confronts her late husband's relatives.

Episode 7 of 10

All caught up after a 5 hour marathon last night.

This will take a back seat to later tonight after Dexter and Homeland though.

Great episode after a rather boring one last week. That gunshot through the mouth was awesome! I have to admit that when I learned Common had a role in this I was less than enthusiastic about it, but he's been good, really good. I guess some rappers can act (Mos Def and Ludacris being other ones that have impressed me)

easily the best episode of the season... loved it from start to finish... could have done without Common's music video at the end tho.

Great episode! I have come to really, really look forward to this show.

I wonder how Bohannon (sp?) is going to weasel his way back into Swede's good graces this time?

This was the first episode where we actually got to learn about Bohannon as well -- I was commenting to my wife that it's hard to like the guy because they haven't taken the time to really develop or reveal anything about him --- then Bam -- the whole wife being hung and kid burning in the barn thing.

I think it was the best episode too.

I assumed the only reason he didn't kill that 'leader' guy on the spot at the hanging was he knew he'd have to kill him later anyway on better ground.

^^ Well, that and it gave Elam the chance to make good on his promise to kill him.
