I realize I'm really late to the party. Long story short. I canceled my XM subscription and got a good on ESPN Mag just for insider access to get full show podcasts.

What I'd like to do is set my computer up at home to auto download shows so when I come home for lunch I can grab my flash drive and take it back to work. The sites are blocked at work.

Can this be done and what is the best lite client that does this now?

Thanks

Really iTunes? Who knew. I have it installed for my wife's iPod. I'll check it out.

I prefer MediaMonkey. I haven't used Itunes in years but last time I did MM had much better options for podcast/device management, particularly if you aren't using an iDevice.

Ditto on itunes especially easy now with wireless sync. Just plug my ipod touch in at night and new podcasts are loaded from my subcriptions, you can set how many new ones you want, and the listened to podcasts are removed. Very easy.

iTunes has always worked fine for me. The syncing-over-the-air now is great.

Any RSS reader will do. I use BeyondPod on my (Android) phone, it's great.
