FYI, if your going to be watching this live on Starz, which I don't think anyone here will, there is going to be a 4 minute teaser for the new season of Spartacus afterwards.

Thanks for that, Djaria. We recently did a marathon around here and everyone seems to like it. The ratings have been so abysmal (I believe 250k at the low point) I've been warning folks it may not be back next season. It's nice to know it's already picked up (with a greater episode order than Season 1!).

Great scene in Kane's office between Tom and Ezra. Together for 30 years...that hurt. Solid finale though and glad that Ross managed to get a good right hook on Zajac.

Surprised to not see more discussion of this show here. Quality stuff.
** vague spoilers follow **
But does anyone feel like there are a few too many deaths surrounding Kane? In this last episode alone we had one attempted murder, one apparently successful murder, and one character being arrested for a previous murder. All a bit much in my opinion.

"Boss" isn't meant to be Mayor Daley. It's a fictional mayor and fictional administration set in a real city. But as for violence, if it were to occur in real life, what's to say the public would even know about it? There's very little journalism left these days to investigate things and connect dots.
One reason the show may get less commentary here is because there aren't as many subscribers to Starz as there are HBO and Showtime. I'm sure Starz hopes Boss and Spartacus will change that. I've also seen very little chatter about Starz in the entertainment press. They'd really benefit by having on some type of name guest star for an episode. Give Lindsay Lohan the role of a murdered hooker or something.

Mr. Moneybags -- a behind the scenes mover and shaker in the Chicago political world. She'd previously gone to him for financial commitment if the young guy chose to run for mayor. He's also the father of the guy leading the lawsuit against the mayor.

2) He's got loads of cash so can shift it towards Cullen's or Zajcak's campaign as swayed.

Just finished watching this series. I knew Kelsey Grammer won a Golden Globe for the show, but didn't even know what it was. I'm glad I sought it out. If this was on HBO, it would be on everyone's Top Ten list of best TV shows.
Can't believe all the stuff that went down in this finale episode. I thought the mystery guy was working for Ezra. Was he working for Kane the whole time?
