Late entry storming up the charts of my yearly "Best Of" list.


This Smashing Pumpkins re-issue has reminded me how much I enjoy this album.


Possibly my favorite renditions of Christmas tunes for the past 10 years. If I'm going to be listening to Christmas music, this is the disc I reach for first.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that, but I did find it to be a bit of a disappointment after the debut. Their latest, Junk Of The Heart, is a major rebound in my book, though. I've had it in steady listening rotation since it got released back in September, and it's among my "Top" albums of the year.
