This Smashing Pumpkins re-issue has reminded me how much I enjoy this album.

Possibly my favorite renditions of Christmas tunes for the past 10 years. If I'm going to be listening to Christmas music, this is the disc I reach for first.

Siamese Dream (Deluxe Edition) by Smashing Pumpkins
Awful album, IMHO. So excited for this as Inside In/Inside Out was one of the flawless rock albums of the 00s.
I wouldn't go so far as to say that, but I did find it to be a bit of a disappointment after the debut. Their latest, Junk Of The Heart, is a major rebound in my book, though. I've had it in steady listening rotation since it got released back in September, and it's among my "Top" albums of the year.
Today, I discovered God is an Astronaut.

I'm discovering quite a bit of post-rock due to Spotify's upgraded radio feature. I'm also really enjoying this band:

OK, I'm in too. It was five bucks on Amazon yesterday. Don't know why I didn't have this as they've been playing the title track on Sirius incessantly and it's really good.
