This reminded me of a season 2 or 3 episode with all the hilarious awkwardness. Classic, one of the best of the season.

Yeah, this was a classic episode. Both the A and B stories were great and had something to offer. Spader, Helms, and Krasinski were all fantastic.

The opening w/ Jim and Dwight and Jim trying to hide from Andy/Robert was fucking hysterical!

From the second Jim started running up till he got caught, I was laughing hysterically.

Creed on the roof playing with the helicopter was so random, yet great.

Re: The Office -- "Mrs. California" -- 12/01/11

There were some great moments last night. I loved how the opening concluded with Jim telling Dwight that he has to do it, and Dwight saying that he knows.

But the line that really killed me was: "No, I don't think we should be trying to make this place seem unpleasant. I think we should let this place just crush her spirit by itself. I mean, it knows what it's doing." I could really relate to that line.

Great episode!

Re: The Office -- "Mrs. California" -- 12/01/11

Lot's of great lines this week!

Dwight: Plus, their massive BMs bust the rivets on my pipes!

Susan: It's really nice to meet you Brian.
Ryan: It's Ryan.
Susan: Oh. Ryan.
Ryan: BITCH!

Andy: What I wouldn't give for one of Phyllis' room-clearing farts right now.

Maura Tierney looked good. I wish she was a permanent character.

"You know I have to do this."

"I know you do."

Awesome.

I couldn't stop laughing when Jim was running away from Robert and Andy.

And Robert's grateful speech and getting mad when Andy hired the wife was hilarious.

Re: The Office -- "Mrs. California" -- 12/01/11

What was Kelly's line? "I have the shoes. They're like a gym for your feet."

I have to give credit to Andy for trying his best not to hire Mrs. California but Robert made it very difficult for Andy to not cave in and give her a job. Andy does need to learn to not sell out his boss though. I wonder if there will be any future repurcusions for Andy because of this.

So are we to assume that Pam has started her maternity leave before having the baby? Did she have her baby in real life yet? Hopefully, we won't get another hospital episode when the baby is born. What's going on with Angela's baby? I haven't seen that mentioned lately. She is due after Pam though, I think.

Jim should have stayed on the roof with Creed, if my boss would have done that to me I would have been pissed.

If I were in Andy's position and asked to verify Robert's claims, then I would....consult the camera crew's footage.

I just thought it was a so-so episode. Andy is a goober-weaner. Robert was going way out of his way to be a dick about not letting Andy do his dirty work easily. Not sure what was so funny and classic, but to each his own.

They really came close to tanking the Robert character. He's always been creepy but likable; now he's bordering on vile.

There were some good moments with Jim, but there have been better episodes this season. I'm getting tired of the Robert/Andy stuff, fast.

Of all the new episodes I liked this one the least. I guess I am in the minority - I don't miss Carrell that much, pretty happy overall with the addition of Spader.

Good laughs this episode but I didn't like how Robert made Andy's orders as difficult as possible to execute, it doesn't really make sense why he'd do that.

It's Robert.
