Small business Saturday - what are you buying?

Every year around this time Amex sponsors small business Saturday. Basically you register your Amex card, go spend at least 25$ at a small business and Amex will credit your acct 25$

As for us I'll be going to 99 bottles, a lOcal craft beer store. The wife will be going to sugarbabies a boutique consignment store

It's a relatively new thing, from what I saw, heavily pushed by AMEX. I was able to snag a $25 giftcard from them via Facebook. I do hope it becomes more popular.

Did or is anyone planning on shopping or eating at a local place? I'm going to eat at a locally-owned place tonight (no easy feat in Orlando, I can assure you).

I generally do all my shopping at the Walmarts and big grocery stores, but almost never eat at a chain restaurant...so today I'm going to go shopping at the small grocery and eat at Applebees. :eek:
