Green Lantern by FAR... I'm an old school DC fan and had nothing but the highest of hopes.
What a bloody, squirming, third-trimester abortion of a movie

Green Lantern was pretty terrible.
Wasn't exactly a disappointment as I thought it was going to be bad.
I really liked Super 8 though. It was a surprise for me as I thought it might suck.
Transformers 3 was terrible, but again not disappointed because I KNEW it would.
I expected more from Sucker Punch, Hanna and a few more but I think my biggest disappointment was 'The Debt'. I liked it, don't get me wrong, but I feel it fell short in ways.

Green Lantern was a very surprising disappointment. Too much wasted potential.
Sucker Punch was beyond salvageable. What an awful movie.

Green Lantern was awful. That one let me down the most this year. Just not very entertaining, lame special effects, the villain and storyline wasn't anthing very special, and overall just a dud in my opinion.
Upon first viewing I liked Captain America: The First Avenger, but on subsequent viewings it was kinda just okay. I enjoyed Thor and X-Men: First Class far more.

Super 8.
Everyone kept going on how this was a throwback to Close Encounters , Goonies, etc. BS. The kids were boring. The father/son relationship was flimsy. The pacing was lethargic. The CGI alien was a dime a dozen. The "tearjerking" finale wasn't earned. After all the advance hype and secrecy the whole thing was just one big "Is that it??" missed opportunity.

Sucker Punch - visuals were fantastic but the story was horrid
Cowboys and Aliens - given the talent involved, I found the film below average and wasn't even a fun film to watch

You know thinking about my disappointment list its pretty much every movie I choose on movie night with my girlfriend every movie she choose The Help, Bridesmaids, Win Win were all pretty good. I need to stop picking movies like a 10 year old boy.

Bad Teacher. Not that I was expecting something great, but it really was not as good as the trailers made it out to be. Plus the "LeBron James/Michael Jordan" argument was about 10 times shorter in the movie.
