Good to see they're making Sheldon grow a bit. His jealousy doesn't seem to be based out of an attraction to Amy though.

My take is that Sheldon is asexual but is certainly capable of evolving the romantic relationship he has with Amy.

I can't see the show putting Sheldon in bed with Amy without jumping the shark... it's just too out of character for Sheldon to have intercourse with someone and no amount of character evolution would make that plausible.

I think it would be hilarious if he did a ton of research on how to pleasure a woman and turned out to be a total stud at it. I mean, if you aren't focused on your own pleasure (and four years in that's the idea I get from him), then you may focus all your efforts on your partner. I'm sure that woudl be bliss for a woman. For anyone questioning Sheldon's asexuality, there's always been this question in my mind since season 1, episode 1, scene 1. They're at the "Hi IQ sperm bank" and Leonard makes a reference to Sheldon being "a semi-pro" (at spanking the monkey)

It's never been brought up since. odd.
