The producers must not be SoA fans or they would know how shitty your show becomes when a main character heads to Belfast to meet with the IRA

Loved Rothstein's way of letting Luciano and Lansky he knows they're bullshitting him.

Jimmy throwing that gut off the balcony was pretty dumb. He just got finished telling everyone how things are gonna be different now.

Eli realizes that Nucky is playing possum. Just as he said at the wake, Nucky never forgives.

Shows how dumb Jimmy and the commodores gang are that they believe Nucky for a second.

The scene with Torio Luciano and Nucky in the Stables was great.

Nucky's dream sequences were very Sopranos-ish. I noticed that Terence Winter scripted this episode -- probably not a coincidence.

Not dumb, but naive. After all, we have hindsight to know never to believe our enemy when they tell us "they're stepping out of the picture." We've seen a million movies and TV shows that have taught us never to believe what we so much want. However, these poor saps only have radio music, and are not as apt as we are regarding this ruse. LOL.

To people like Jimmy, he sees Nucky as stepping down. Period. He's only 20-something, after all.

Nice to see Jimmy's wife getting back into lesbianism.

Yup, and Owen thought for sure he was "found out," because Nucky was saying, "your friend was from Ireland?" Margaret was from Ireland, as was the guy Owen murdered in the bathroom, so Owen's face was priceless.

Margaret, in her dailiance, could have set Nucky up to be killed, because if Owen is found out, or if he thinks he's going to be found out, he will kill not only Nucky, but Margaret, the kids, and probably even the maid, in order to protect himself.

I don't see Owen going that crazy. Maybe killing Nucky if it's a "me or him" situation, but I expect he would just disappear if things got bad.

Did anybody really have a "Jimmy Darmody haircut" in the 1920s??

Another good ep. I loved the scene with Nucky, Torrio and A.R. discussing the pups that have grown fangs.

Jimmy is such a fool. Also, why does he hate "Onion" so much? Maybe I missed something.

Probably a little of both. Plus Jimmy didn't really want to kill Nucky. I dont think the Commodore did either.
