Surprisingly sweet ending to both plot lines, first with Dwight reminding Jim to get Cecelia a toothbrush, then with Kevin and the Zits jamming by the dumpster.

It's a shame that Creed didnt get involved in the music plot. It would have been completely out of character for the guy who works at Dunder Mifflin, but how sweet would it have been for the actor to play Midnight Confessions?

Actually, not out of character at all. It was established early on in the series that this Creed is the same Creed Bratton who played in the Grass Roots, so it is pretty meta. And he actually did some jamming in the second season episode where they all went on the booze cruise. But yeah, given that, surprising he's not in their band.

I thought it was a decent episode. The band stuff seemed like a pretty throwaway plot to me. But the Jim and Pam stuff was the first time their characters have had an interesting plotline in forever. And I actually thought Dwight was pretty funny for his bit in it.

Dwight grabbing Jim's crotch was great. The Helen Mirren stuff reminded me of DVDTalk

That was all in deleted scenes...so it's not canon!

The pregnant Helen Mirren thing really cracked me up. I liked what I saw of this episode, but for some reason, I had some signal problems last night and lost a few minutes. Basically, I didn't see any resolution to either story, so I'm going to have to check this out on demand or something.

Holy shit, I lost it when I realized who the drummer was:

I remember watching these videos a few years ago laughing my ass off.

That was one of the best deleted scenes from the show that should not have been deleted. (This show has a lot of those!)

Great episode. Creed's line had me rolling.

I wonder where the high blood pressure stuff is going.

The back and forth between Dwight and Pam was most welcome.

Dwight stumbling into Jim had me rolling. The wife liked it at first, and then thought they went overboard w/ it.

Spoiler:
Rumor is that Jim dies at the end of the season to explain why he and Pam won't be on the show any longer as their contracts are up and they do not want to return.

^There's no way that'll happen. It's a comedy, that's about as depressing as the show would get and would pretty much guarantee a nosedive in ratings.

No chance. This isn't Two and a Half Men. They can't pull off something like that and have it be funny.
