Re: 2011 Christmas TV Schedule
I ask myself the same question every year.
Why does Rudolph only air once and why is it always so damn early? I can watch Elf and The Santa Clause like 20 times each but Rudolph is only on once and it's not even in December? I'm not even close to in the Christmas spirit until at least the second week in December. Rudolph's one and only airing is 11/29.
Yeah I know I could just buy the dvd, but it's the principle. I've never understood why it always airs so early.
By the way, thanks for posting this. Very informative.

I feel that way about "It's A Wonderful Life". I remember in the 80's when it would be on some station every night in Dec. I have it on DVD, but there's something about watching it on TV. NBC bought the rights, and play it around Dec 8, and again on Christmas Eve.

I chuckled to see that shows like "Hoops and Yoyo Ruin Christmas" rate the coveted red listing, but a classic movie like "Meet Me in St. Louis" doesn't. To each his own, I guess. Anyway, thanks for the list. It really helps the planning.
