Blade Runner 2
So its official that Ridley Scott is returning to the directors chair and looks like no Deckard (which in my mind is a smart move). Looking forward to seeing a sequel to my favourite movie of all time. Now if we can just see Michael Fassbender and the new version of a Roy Batty type character with Tom Hardy as his muscle, that will be great.
So thoughts anyone?

Re: Blade Runner 2
Scott has made some really good movies since Blade Runner. Including one great one. Gladiator is none of those IMO.
Regardless, I think this is a really pointless endeavor. BLADE RUNNER isn't a franchise, it was a story (more of a poem, really) and a damned fine one. It doesn't need to continue.

You think so? I find may 80s films to be dated as products of their time because of their synth scores. I watched Driving Miss Daisy again recently, which of course is a period piece set before the 80s. However, portions of its score give it away as an 80s film.
