Really enjoyed this cd. I listened to the Deluxe Edition which has 3 additional songs and a demo of one of the songs on the cd.

Photobucket
This Mortal Coil - Filigree & Shadow

These remasters are probably the best sounding touch-up to a series of albums I've ever heard. If you've even entertained the idea of thinking of picking up the new set, I can't recommend it enough. You will not be disappointed.

That Jónsi album is great. Retains some of the weirdness of Sigur Rós, but much more pop.

GoapeleBreak of Dawn (2011)

Interesting production, will have to revisit again later.

Albert KingBorn Under a Bad Sign (1967)

Somehow I had not heard of Albert King until this year.

Looks like Spottie doesn't have the remasters, but I'll listen to the original. For some reason I thought TMC was a metal band (they sort of have a metal name). Glad they're not.

The remasters aren't out until the 15th, but apparently Beggars was sending out pre-orders VERY early. Perhaps they'll be on Spotify after that? (Though since there are no bonus tracks on the albums themselves I don't really see the point of Spotify going through the hassle of re-uploading them.) In any case, I can't recommend the box enough if you like the records - it's a love letter from 4AD to the fans.

Today:

Photobucket

These arrived in the mail today and sound incredible. I have 'Strap It On' louder than I probably should and am pretending I am 12 again. It's a good time.

Biffy Clyro - Only Revolutions

A friend recommended this to me this morning. I'm about halfway through it on Spotify, and I love it.
