Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) are once again on the FBI's "Most Wanted" list when two Leviathans clone the brothers and go on a killing spree. The subject of a nationwide manhunt, Sam and Dean need to drop off the grid so Bobby (Jim Beaver) sends them to Frank Deveraux (guest star Kevin R. McNally), a quirky surveillance expert, for help. Meanwhile, Bobby continues to search for a way to kill the Levianthans, or at least slow them down, so the real Winchesters can stop their evil doppelgangers. John Showalter directed the episode written by Robbie Thompson (#706).

It's funny, while watching the episode I was wondering if maybe, at some point, the Winchester's would end up working with Demons/Hell/Crawley to battle the Leviathans. With that final scene, I think that's definitely a possiblity.

Though this was better than last weeks, but it still seems like the show is treading water.

A little sad for what used to be me favorite show.

I agree that a team up with Crowley is coming.

Sadly, I agree with you. I'm going to continue watching because of what this show once meant to me.

I sure wish they'd make Marsters character recurring.

Good episode, though Leviathans turn out lamer than even I imagined. A common cleaning product destroys them? That was just lazy by the writers who didn't want to come up with a more involved solution.

Good stuff

Though surprisingly a search on the government database for household product that contains sodium borate decahydrate only shows about 50 or so of them, and a good chunk of them are old, obsolete products. So in actuality this stuff is not that easy to find...

I'm still loving this season and while things are a bit jarring form episode to episode (like last season) it just works. Some good one-liners this episode as well.

Re: Supernatural -- "Slash Fiction" -- 10/28/11

I thought it was pretty good. I liked that Dean was comforted by cutting his doppleganger's head off.

And they FINALLY got the Amy shit out into the open. As someone else said, too bad they ruined it with the teaser for next week.

Yeah, I think working with Crowley will be inevitable. Kinda scary that the Leviathans already infiltrated the FBI.

The Borax solution didn't bother me that much. It's not actually that common a product any more. My wife used it to get rid of ants last summer and we had a hard time finding it.
