Usually the Wil Wheaton ones are good but this one was a bit flat for me.

The last time Wheaton met up with Sheldon, he was a colossal prick and ruined Leonard & Penny's relationship.

I do hope that Howard makes it into outer space, although don't you need to be in superior physical condition to do that?

I enjoyed the episode. Wheaton was wearing Starcraft and Warcraft shirts

Yeah, I'm a little sad that Wil is no longer Sheldon's nemesis, but maybe they can turn Spiner into a good nemesis. A few laughs overall, but not a terribly memorable episode.

She's definitely the epitome of cute. For anyone keeping count, this episode featured TWO University of Houston alums...

Re: The Big Bang Theory -- "The Russian Rocket Reaction" -- 10/13/11

I think I like Wheaton better as a nemesis.
He posted this on his Google+ the other day, so I was hoping for more:
I'm case you missed it, I'm on Big Bang Theory this Thursday.

Yes, I'm literally playing The Dead Meemaw Card so you'll tune in.

Two of the party guests at the end were original Trek writers D.C. Fontana and David Gerrold.

Re: The Big Bang Theory -- "The Russian Rocket Reaction" -- 10/13/11

I guess it never occured to Sheldon to copy the file(s) from his 5 1/4" floppy disk to any other storage device that wasn't ancient?

I can see him keeping the drive for historical and nostalgic/sentimental reasons, but continuing to use it is dumb. Yeah, I know... it's just a show and it was done for laughs.

He's Sheldon, he knows the list by memory. The floppy disk is just a tradition.

And he was 38 when TNG started. Boy, doesn't that make YOU feel old?

Re: The Big Bang Theory -- "The Russian Rocket Reaction" -- 10/13/11

That would pretty much explain it, then. I didn't realize he was so old when the series started. Then again, I've seen Frakes recently and he doesn't seem to have aged quite as much. It could be that I'm used to thinking of Spiner as a character that doesn't age.

Shrodinger's cat, physics and boobs... you're the total package.

Is it just me or is Bernadette packing some serious sweater kittens?

Do you watch True Blood, she showed a little bit more there. She looked a lot hotter there too.

Is her voice on Big Bang her normal voice? That would annoy me

I'm just afraid that ever since her horse riding accident Kaley Couco has been fading. The thing is you have a veteran like Mayim Bialik who steals almost every scene she's in--her deadpan delivery is killer. Second Melissa Rauch has been doing mop up and came in so strong in this episode there's no room for Penny to do much more than reactions. And that's been happening a lot.

I haven't heard about any accident, but I do agree with you. With the Penny and Lenord storyline basically kaput at this point, there isn't a lot for her to do.

She was off the show for one (?) episode. And hid her cast in another. Chuck Lorre talked about it on one of those ending credit cards. But yes it all coincided with her breaking up with Leonard. Probably had to happen, once they were together the show lost its original concept--four nerds in search of a girl with one with the best shot for the hot chick.

She really has been shoved to the back for a long time now. I wonder how she and her agent are taking it. She's almost expendable. And I can't figure out how they can make her shine again. Think how great she was in the episode where she joins, and then excels at, the online game the boys play.
