Really enjoyed this episode. Playing the recordings at the mother-daughter thing was great. So far, Emily takes her revenge to a point. It'll be really interesting when she goes full out.
Tyler's still seeking his own revenge. Wonder what Emily will do when his revenge continues to interfere with hers.

Some of the flashback segments are starting to conflict with each other. This episode showed some archival footage of young Amanda locked in by Michelle Banks at some institution, dated 9/18/93. Does this mean that her father was arrested in the Summer of '93? If so, why didn't they prosecute her father until 1995? And that makes Sam the dog over 18 years-old...
Emily/Amanda has carefully planned all her revenge plots years in advance, much like a deep undercover operative. She bought the senator's mistress' building and had it under surveillance for years for that money shot; and she obviously acted for Dr. Banks for over an year in those sessions, knowing that the recordings will ultimately be leaked and Victoria will be seeing it down the line...

LOL the age of the dog has become a hot topic convo on EW.com as well.
And yes, Emily's been planning all this since she was given the box of info her father passed on to her when she left jail. So she's had quite a few years to plan. I think she got out at 18.

How old is Emily? She is/was engaged to Victoria's son at the beginning of the pilot, but he still has another year of Harvard (undergrad I'm assuming) left. If this is true, then that makes her a few years older than him. She some kind of "cougar" ?

Although soapy, the arc of this show (unlike another show I won't mention) seems to have been meticulously planned. So the scene where Victoria's son's friend from Harvard lied about Emily and then stole his phone was very disappointing. The scenario is totally unbelievable -- how the hell did/does he intend to get away with it? How the hell did he know that Jack would show up unannounced for dinner? And what's this guy's deal anyway? I hope this isn't a sign of things to come.

I don't think Tyler will get away with it (is he the dead body on the beach?), nor did he know that Jack would show up. That, I suspect, was just an unexpected bonus. He does make an interesting contrast to Emily, in that he's supremely amateurish and shortsighted in his schemes, whereas Emily plays the long con magnificently.
Despite his obvious machinations, I find his character rather uninteresting thus far, but all it really implies is that Daniel is pretty clueless. Two separate parties are using him for their own ends and he doesn't suspect a thing.
Looks like Hamptonsexposed.com is for real.
I liked the detail they slipped in about Frank being part of the FBI prior to heading Greyson's security team. Was he involved in Emily's Father's investigation? As Emily stated in this episode, nothing is a coincidence. He and Victoria also have some serious sexual tension between them.
The complete nonchalance with which Emily carries out her various schemes is just delicious. Only four episodes in, but this show (unlike another I also won't bother mentioning) continues to impress.

It seemed like Emily might have tipped her hand to Victoria when it was mentioned by Ashley that she helped her find the "missing" DVD -- despite including herself with the various therapy disclosures.
Toward the end was Emily's infinity wrist tattoo smudged? From a character standpoint I would think that she would want it removed as to not draw attention to herself. That or have it done in white ink.

Awesome news! Best new (network) serial drama of the season by far.
Edit: I added network because Homeland so far is the best new drama this season.

Awesome episode. This show is soooo good. Emily/Amanda is turning out to be one of the most interesting anti-heroes to come in awhile.
at the HamptonsExposed.com video. I liked how Emily put her video in there as well, but it was such a tame confession compared to the other women. Victoria losing it and threatening to ruin Michelle Banks was awesome.
I agree with one of the earlier comments here that everything seems to be so meticulously planned. Huge kudos to Mike Kelley and his writers.
The last flashback was interesting. Was that a laptop that Victoria was trying to take from Amanda's fathers house?
Madeline Stowe is so good as Victoria. The character is almost a throwback to old school evil soap opera divas. I love her fake smiles and evil glances.

I just catching up with this show and think it's great fun. Did I miss something - why is Tyler trying to get back at Daniel?

Just finished watching this episode and continue to enjoy it. Hate the new guy since he just seems so unnecessary but I assume that it will be revealed eventually.
I noticed that I had some issues hearing some of the dialogue because the music was a bit overpowering. Did anyone else notice this?
