Wow! Each week, things seem to lead even more to an inevitable spiral out of control. Should prove to be an extremely tense season. It'll be interesting to see who/how many make it out unscathed.

Is this the first time that it's been confirmed that Clay & Gemma murdered John Teller?
There's at least two characters that I don't see living to the end of the season.

Don't know why Clay is so worried about his hands and driving his bike, he seemingly drove two of them up to Unser's place.

Wow, SAMCRO is really imploding. Seems like Jax/Tara is the only honest relationship left. Juice is in some deep shit.
The security at Tara's office is a joke.

As long as you don't consider Tara keeping from Jax that she was about to leave Charming (and him) and take another job somewhere else as honest. I do agree Jax has been blatantly honest since his exit from prison. When he thinks she doesn't need to know something, he says, "How much do you want to know," or, "Do you really want to know?" She's often smart enough to say, "Never mind," and, "No." But let's not forget she's explicitly hiding JT's letters from Jax, and they were expressly given to her to give to Jax. In those letters, it points the finger at Clay for JT's death. I don't think Jax would feel that's being honest.
Nah, there are no honest relationships on this show, and that's just fine. A running theme for me is seeing how there's no honor amongst thieves. Or really, in any group setting based on honor, people routinely violate the code for one reason or another.

I guess I just don't get the whole Juice thing. Either they haven't completely conveyed how much they hate anyone black or with a black relative, but apparently Juice knows/assumes they will, what, kill him if they found out after all he's done for them and all the time he's been with them? He really doesn't realize the sheriff is going to use him up until he's done with him or he gets killed? Juice immediately does what the sheriff asks, and apparently it's unthinkable to just go to Clay and lay it out there? Because now he's in very, very deep...
Also, with Otto--after ALL he's done for the club (e.g. slit his own wrists just to get near the guy who cut Jax), they can't just off the guy who killed Luann instead of trying to use him for their quickly-compiled plan to somehow stop the mayor of Charming?

I think Juice is smarter than this. Is he not the tech guy, hacking computers and stuff. And yes, the simplest thing to do is go to the group, tell them hey the sheriff is trying to blackmail me, maybe not say exactly why.
And then use that info.
Now Juice is standing in the room and there's one package missing, which is probably creating trouble with the Mayans, especially with the 1 guy left behind.
The story lines are almost as far fetched as last season, but without the kidnapping.
Tara is a surgeon, yet she manages to take a scheduled Noon to 1 lunch every day?
And then use that info.

Agreed. I find the Juice race thing really, really stupid. They have known him for years and love him like a brother. No one in the club would care, but they won't write it that way.

And Sutter has been defending the issue saying that the race issue is realistic and a real thing with clubs. Awesome. I have no doubt it is. But I think there's more to Juice and his history with this particular club than a random black guy walking in off the street and looking to join. Please. This whole plot point is terrible.

I disagree with Sutter. It is the love of bikes and the club that keep the culture alive, not glasgow smiles or race or any of that nonsense.
This race thing is destroying the season.
If Juice would have come clean, Tig would have made a race joke, everyone would laugh, and then Jax and Opie would have hugged Juice and said we don't care, we love you.

They should rename the show "Lying".
I don't think I've ever seen so many charcters do so much of it in one episode.

I like what they did with the JT letters... I was kind of skeptical about it, but Tara making copies, Gemma and Clay kind of looking for it independently (and for different reasons) and Piney putting a clock on things makes for an interesting dynamic.
Like many others the Juice storyline annoys the hell out of me... I hope he's not the plot device the writers use to advance the investigation along (he becomes the informant). I also hope they don't do something where maybe one or two club members find out, keep it quiet and use that down the line as leverage for some key club vote. This story has potential to go even further downhill...I can almost envision Juice planting the kilo on the Mayan that was at the warehouse, or the club just assuming it was him and turning this into a Mayan/SAMCRO split.
The Otto stuff also annoys the hell out of me... I realize they are viewing it as a temporary delay, but that seems like yet another big f' you to Otto. And while the writers tried to explain things by saying Otto could have visitors since he was in the infirmary, how does someone on death row get visitors? (and as casual as that?)
Pretty sure we never did and it was portrayed as everyone assuming it was Georgie. For some reason I always thought it was Zobelle orchestrating it to screw with the club and making it seem like Georgie did it.

so, yeah, Clay didn't have anything to do with John Teller's death as a few here have said. WRONG.

What about the Grim Reapers? Isn't that an all Black that is a brother club to Samcro? This whole race thing is ridiculous and I am firmly in the camp (that I'm starting right now) that the Sheriff will ultimately team with SamCro against the DA, who has a couple of screws loose. This season everyone on this show is drinking something that is making them all act against character. The letters weren't given to Tara, they were put in Jax's bag and Terra found them but still hasn't shared them with Jax, which doesn't make sense.

I agree the race thing with Juice is stupid. Maybe it's true to life with some clubs, and these guys have been show making racist jokes, but if they are going to pull the race card like this they need to establish how hardcore racist the club is. Unfortunately it's hard to do that without making them into unlikable assholes. Oh, and falling asleep in the woods...really?
Regarding the letter thing, it's a bit of a circus, and it wasn't helped by the pacing/editing in this episode. It was kind of the A story of this episode but it wasn't given the flow of an A story, just a B story with a shit load of scenes.
So now we know for sure that Clay killed JT, but I'm not sure if we really know why and apparently Gemma doesn't know the real reason either. It could be just of the guns, but I got the feeling there was another motive buried in the letters.

So, yeah, I could see the older members (Clay, Tig and the old, dying man) as being hardcore racists, or even wanting to out Juice for having a black father, but the newer members of the club would never stand for it, and Juice should be wise enough to know that. And that's what makes this whole storyline asinine.

I wish I could've been a fly on the wall in the writers room when the race story came up.
Writer: Well that was a cool way of getting rid of the undercover FBI agent.
Writer2: Yeah but with him gone, the set up we have with the DA isn't going to work now.
Writer: How about we involve Juice, you know he is Puerto Rican from Queens so we can have him have a Black father and be threatened with that being told to Samcro, who we all know hate Blacks and Mexicans, since neither are in the club, unless he becomes a snitch.
Writer2: Yeah, but didn't we establish that the Grim Reapers were a brother club and all black? Not to mention that the SAMTAZ chapter has hispanics, not to mention Happy?
Writer: The fans loved the whole Ireland story, they'll love this one too.
