Per TVShowsonDVD.com, Vivendi is releasing the first season (26 episodes) of The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes on Blu-ray in Canada! It currently comes to about $30 shipped to the US at Amazon.ca.

May have to import as well. Blu-ray, complete Season 1, that's music to my ears (and sure beats the way they are currently releasing this). I wonder if there will be commentaries similar to Wolverine/X-Men animated series.

FYI: You can already stream this one off Netflix in 1080p/DD+. I will probably buy it though, especially since it's mispriced. Damn shipping takes away the value though. Ironically Amazon.ca charges almost 2x as much to ship to the US than Amazon.co.uk does.
I hope this has lossless audio. For $30 without lossless audio I'd rather just watch it on Netflix with DD+ audio.

Vivendi has been a shoddy Blu-ray distributor so far, but there was no chance Disney was ever going to release the show on BD in the U.S. The show looks excellent in HD, the animation is quite good for a weekly show.
