the " original " fleetwood mac
I've recently discovered the " original " fleetwood mac with peter green. a lot of great blues tracks on these albums. The remastered cd's are especially incredible as they are as sharp and clear as ever. There are some good songs on the 2nd fleetwood mac ( stevie knicks and co. ) of the mid 70's but for me the original fleetwood mac takes the cake.

Yep. Good stuff. There are several non-LP tracks on Peter Green collections and The Best Of Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac. "Green Manalishi" among them. If you haven't heard it, check out John Mayall's "A Hard Road" which features Green on guitar.

There's actually about three different Fleetwood Macs; the bluesy 60's band that transitioned into more folk, the minimal/rock early 70's band with Bob Welch, and the late 70's FM-Contemporary band.
I have yet to really listen to the first portion but I'm a pretty big fan of the middle and later parts.
Check out some of these Welch-Fleetwood Mac tracks:

Up until I discovered this video a while back, I always thought "Black Magic Woman" was a Santana song.

Mayall is more straight forward blues than Green's Fleetwood Mac. Similiar to FM songs My Heart Beat Like A Hammer, Rollin' Man, Something Inside Of Me, Looking For Somebody. Not so much Black Magic Woman or Well Well Well.
