I came across some Cow and Chicken (90s cartoon) season sets on eBay, as you can see here. Can anyone confirm that these are legit? And if so, anyone know what the quality is like?

Apparently yes. They were released in Thailand.

Ethaicd listings for the DVDs and they are a legit biz. Out of stock at the store, but they do say on the rear "Region 3" yet, the ebay auctioneer says free, huh?

The listing includes an image of the back of the box that clearly shows a Region 3 symbol. I sent in a question to the seller. I'll let you know if I get a reply.

So it sounds legit, cool, especially since they are decently cheaper than the Australian sets, and they only released the first 2 seasons. When I have some extra cash I'll get one and post back here about the quality for anyone else interested.

I'm sorry if my attempts at humor cause a misunderstanding, but the Region 3 symbol on the back is in no way a geographical origin mark. It is clearly a Region 3 code.

So either the seller doesn't know what he's talking about and these are the legit R3 Thai releases, OR he's blowing smoke and these are region-free boots.

If anyone buys these, I would be interested in a quality report. I have most on VHS recorded off cable, but if these are true high quality digital transfers from the original toons, i would be very interested. He also has 1 I Am Weasel season.

I googled a couple of the UPC's from his photos. NO hits.

Or the package could say Region 3 but it's actually all region. That does happen from time to time, too.
