3D Vintage Classics on DVD/Blu Ray
I haven't posted or read posts on here recently but are there any plans afoot in the light of 3D movies being the "in thing" ( he said using an old hat phrase! ) to remaster and reissue 3D versions of such c classic back catalogue titles as House of Wax , Dial M for Murder , Kiss Me Kate , Creature from the Black Lagoon , It Came from Outer Space etcetera?

Haven't heard a peep on that subject. Warner would be the major player in a move like that since they hold the rights to a majority of those titles and they've recently bemoaned the sales figures of back catalog stuff in Blu. Given that and the fact that these titles fall squarely into that non-blockbuster segment of the back catalog, I'd say it'll be quite some time, if ever, before they get around to it.

I'd be happy if it happened and if the thread title had a '?' at the end.
I not in any rush to upgrade my TV to a 3D one but I'd like the option. It's not like studios are going to abandon 2D for those that don't want to upgrade.

Apparently , according to Byron Kolin responding to a similar post I left on DVD Beaver page on Facebook , George Feltenstein had made noises about bringing out 3D BluRay classic titles like House Of Wax has anyone else heard this?

Just anaglyphic 3D. Some of us were hoping that these older 3D titles would actually make it to the 3D Blu Ray format. So far, the only 3D Blu Ray titles have been recent 3D films. I don't know if there is some difficulty in converting older 3D films to the format, but I for one was hoping to finally see some of the older 3D films in actual 3D. House of Wax would be great.
