I'm really enjoying most of the dramas on ABC Family, so I'm checking this out.

Hey at least they got a credible soap opera writer working on this.

meh, I thought it was all right. I'll continue to watch it.
The lead looks like a mini Marissa Cooper (The OC)...haha
and I didn't realize until just now that it's just one actress playing twins

I liked it. Obviously this adds nothing new to the genre, but I was entertained. It has alot of elements of 90210, Gossip Girl and The Parent Trap. Obviously this isn't some really deep show, it's a young adult drama with cute girls and trashy soap opera elements. The lead Alexandra Chando is cute. She reminds me of a mix of Nina Dobrev and Mischa Barton.
I curious to see how long they can sustain this identity switch storyline. It had the potential to get old fast.
The one thing I thought that was ridiculous was the beginning when Emma was on the run from her white trash foster Mom for an alleged petty theft. They made it sound like she was one of Nevada's most wanted.
Plus it was nice to see Andy Buckley from The Office and Helen Slater as the adult characters.
Right now, Pretty Little Liars and Switched at Birth are my 2 favorite ABC Family shows. This was a decent start. It's better than The Nine Lives of Chloe King and it's nonsense cat people mythology storyline. However, I think waiting to air this in mid-August was a bad idea. I just checked the ratings and they weren't anything to jump about.

Ouch. Just a .5? This one is a goner too. Well, maybe I'll check it out this weekend.

The concept and setup barely made sense. Here, fill in and impersonate me without knowing the first thing about my life. Except for Helen Slater, I thought the casting was atrocious. The show deserves a quick death. That pilot felt way too rushed and moved through too much plot for one episode.

I guess the laptop being stolen poses a problem now.
Not sure what you meant with the casting being atrocious, but some of the actors are way too old to play High Schoolers. But that's nothing new with young adult dramas. Blair Redford, who plays Ethan, is 28 years old. I looked up the blonde guy who played Sutton's boyfriend and he's 30.

Don't forget she was also wanted for assaulting her foster brother who actually stole the money and set her up.

The pilot was not nearly as gripping as the beginnings of "Pretty Little Liars" or "Switched at Birth" but I was entertained enough to keep watching. Although while watching the pilot all I thought about was how it felt like a very long teaser to "Ringer"
