Two new "Larry-isms" this week. "Chat and cut" and "Pig Parker". The vet was was his name from Mad Men.

The dude blowing up that girls spot by admitting he didn't know her and then she does the "chat and cut" on Larry was great I expected Vance to be the one driving the Volvo.

The ending montage was great, as was the flashback to Larry eating the Pinkberry's.

Loved how the lady did the chat and cut to Larry, that was great.

To pull a Larry, the note really wasn't a tattle.

This episode was a classic. The chat and cut was something I see people doing all the time and it pisses me off too . The ending montage was fantastic as well with Richard sitting in the restaurant alone pissed off . The vow of silence with Vance and the pig parker were funny as well. Really good episode and can't wait for the New York stuff!

Great episode. One thing I didn't get though - should Larry basically be telling Tessler (sp?) to go fuck himself after what happened with Tessler spreading the rumor about Larry putting the gerbil up his ass? I can't remember if they reconciled but I would think Larry wouldn't give a rat's ass what Tessler thinks.

It's funny how Larry has no filter whatsoever when it comes to righting the most trivial wrongs against society, but will go to New York for 3 months to get out of something rather than just say "no thank you."

Yeah, I thought about that but wasn't sure if I missed it; looks like they just dropped that story although I guess Larry didn't care after Loretta danced with him.

A much, much better episode than last week. Larry's face as he was throwing away Susie's tissue was great. And so many cameos. Michael Hitchcock, Michael McKean, Cedric Yarbrough, Rich Sommer.

Richard Lewis is stealing every scene this season. "Who are you Dr. Doolittle?"

I loved Lewis in this episode, usually I don't like him.

This season has been a knockout, with the exception of the last ep.

Re: Curb Your Enthusiasm -- "Vow of Silence" -- 8/07/11

The only issue was that Larry had a "full" parking spot available to him in those situations, next to the shitty ones. There should have been a conversation with Lewis or someone who says "In that situation I take the next spot over, so it's a reset. That way, when the first guy leaves, then I don't get transformed into the asshole." Then Larry would get pissed and say "There's no 'transformation' on a reset! It's already set, he's the asshole!" Or something.

Re: Curb Your Enthusiasm -- "Vow of Silence" -- 8/07/11

Loved last nights episode, so many great moments that made me squirm in my seat. I need to know if the double "Chat and Cut" was scripted or improvised, that was a brilliant move.

I was wondering how they were gonna get Larry to NYC, having him forced to go for 3 months because he didn't want to give up one afternoon for charity work was great.

100% correct, that would have been a great moment.

I was crying at the flashback of Larry eating the yougart. Oh God that was funny.

Don't care how contrived it is to get him out there, I want to see Leon in New York. I hate the thought of not seeing him for the rest of the season.

Will we see anymore of Cheryl this season? It's funny, but I don't really miss her part in the show. I thought that when they were getting divorced I would, it I don't.

The "chat and cut" scenes were great -- as was the reveal of how Larry ends up in NYC for 3 months.

I laughed the hardest during the flashback of Larry eating Pinkberry's.

Re: Curb Your Enthusiasm -- "Vow of Silence" -- 8/07/11

The only problem that I have with this episode was couldn't Larry, at the beginning, have parked at the next free parking spot one spot over. Therefore, he wouldn't have to "pig park" himself and exacerbate the situation. So if the original pig parker leaves, the two spots would be freed. There was no need for Larry to pig park right next to the original pig parker.

It would have made more since if the pig parker took up the last two spots thus screwing everyone else. But since there were a few free spots near by, the pig parker didn't cause that much of a problem. Didn't anyone else catch this?

Re: Curb Your Enthusiasm -- "Vow of Silence" -- 8/07/11

The thing I hate most next to a pig parker is a person who parks so near your car that you can't properly open your car door. I also hate it when people park their giant hummers /SVUs right next to you thus creating a blind spot for you when you try to pull out.

Re: Curb Your Enthusiasm -- "Vow of Silence" -- 8/07/11

Groucho, marriage is awesome. That's why 50% of all marriages end in divorce. Fun fact, divorce is the 2nd most stressful event in a person's life and marriage is 6th. I'm in my mid 20's and would not even consider marriage until my 30's.

Larry David knows what I'm talking about. He is divorced in real life and on his show.

That's what I would have done. Why did he continue with the domino affect.
