The only character that sort of annoyed me was the one who could see the TV/Internet/Phone signals. Bill's profuse sweating was a little gross. Other than that, IMO it was a great setup for the series.

I'm not sure why it didn't click with me... to be honest I was tired as hell when I watched it... and thinking about it now I can't even remember what happened in the pilot... but I'm down for another episode, hopefully without the bags under my eyes.

This plot line was too close to a recent Fringe episode, but I still liked it. I like how they limited the role of Rain Man and the only time Strong Guy powered up was off screen then moved the soda machine.
I like the Binghamton(?) subplot.

I've only seen the first two minutes, but that was absolutely ridiculous. I don't care what that guy's powers turn out to be, there's no way he could do that unless he's a wizard. And he'd have to be a damn good wizard, too. That scene killed the entire show for me. I expected at least a bit of realism in the reality they created. Now we have guys who can see through sealed compartments and know exactly how every other person reacts in every situation. Ugh.

Let's see I didn't like Heroes but I like Fringe. This seems to be somewhere between the 2. I'll give it some more time to see where it falls or fails.

My first attempt at watching this episode, i wandered off at the halfway point. i am going to try watching the pilot and then re watching this and see if it connects with me more.
I am looking forward to the guy from NY undercover sweating profusely as part of his powers.

I didnt like the first ep at all ... but I kind of liked this episode. The freak of the week was much more interesting than the crew. I think that will be the downfall of the show. That and the video seems off ... I think thats one reason it seems like Persons Unknown. Well that and the shitty acting.

The Binghampton subplot was pretty interesting. It looks like they are setting up Marcus to possibly return in a future episode. I didn't get why the Binghampton guy had to shoot him even though he dropped the knife. I guess to coverup the situation?
David Strathairn looks alot younger without the beard. If they are going to flashback to 6-7 years ago, they should have at least made an attempt to make him look a little younger....like hair color? He looked exactly the same.

I know who he is and he makes the show tolerable at best. It's the other half dozen apples that are rotten. I judge a show by my viewing experience and not its potential.

I liked this even better than the pilot. The one-hour runtime made the story tighter. The Alpha of the week was pretty interesting, looks like he'll show up again later on.
I think it was a combination of revenge for the guy killing his colleague, and also trying to prevent the guy from causing further trouble in the future.

Nice episode. They seemed to tweak some things (less annoying radio guy, less sweating Malik Yoba) that made the show much more tolerable, and the pacing was spot on. I almost forgot that I was watching this on the syfy channel so the show's got that going for it.
