I'm looking to start up an Online Dynasty for NCAA12 and need some commited players to join up. It will be a casual league where players will be needing to get online once a week to complete games and recruiting. Last years NCAA11 league went 3 continuos seasons and was a lot of fun. Most leagues seem to fall apart after the first year because it takes an eternity to complete the offseason weeks. We (nic44, nicholls82, ivelostr2 and me ) found that the best way to knock the offseason out was to get together on a designated night and hammer it all out in a 1-2 hr session. I'll be giving first dibs on teams to players from last years league along with a couple of others who had expressed interest in joining up. We are only allowed 12 players in a league. Membership over multiple seasons is not required but is prefered. If you are unsure that you can do more than one season try it out for one season at least. I'd really like to get the first season full and then try and add replacements as necessary.
This year instead of setting up everyone in the same conference I will try and fill out different 12 team conferences with championship games (SEC, ACC, Big 10 (12), PAC12, Big 12, Big East)? so that there are 2-4 teams per conference. I'll set it up so that we all get 4-6 head to head games, a possible head to head conference championship game and a head to head bowl game. Any and all teams in the game are allowed to be used. Rules (they are really just guidelines) and Dynasty sliders will be posted. I won't officially be starting the Dynasty until the better named rosters are released from NCAA Strategies or Operation Sports (usually 2-3 weeks after the release of the game)

Type of Dynasty: Various Standard Conferences-
We will be using any team that you like. I will for the most part keep all the conferences intact and would suggest teams from conferences with a Championship game (preferably Big 10, ACC, SEC, PAC12 and now the Big East but not dismissing MAC or Conference USA- (I have edited the Big East and the Big 12 to include 12 teams and they will have a Championship game also.) I will set the Dynasty up so that players will have a minimum of 5 head to head games. Most will also be able to have a conference championship game that is also a head to head matchup as long as human teams win their division. There is also possibility for a head to head Bowl matchup as long as human teams win their conferences.
Online rosters used: GatorBait and Blocko ( GatorNuts0208 )
- I've used these guys in the past and they really put time and effort into it. Rosters are still being worked on but they released a first veersion for everyoe to go over. They are currently being updated. So far they are the most accurate PS3 rosters out there. I will review the teams in conference before I start the Dynasty to make sure they are accurate, if you want to research your team to verify let me know. for more info check the links.

Rules/Guidelines : Avoid douchey playing. Most of the rules are common sense but I'm throwing these up just to make sure there is no question when it comes to the rules. I just wanna avoid the superfluous 2 point conversions and punt/FG Fakes. We all don't have to be Les Miles.

Gameplay
SIM play. Scrambling will not be tolerated in an abusive fashion. Realistically get out of the pocket. If the defense goes into 'all coverage mode' and your QB has no one to through to, you can make a run. Keep it realistic & play SIM style ball. Also, no excessive running up of the score. Statistics and awards can be scewed (and we don't want that)!
Try not to restart games!
These may seem like a lot of Gameply Rules, but we are a SIM league, so you should already be playing this way. Just in case there is any controversy.
Rule 1. You can only use "Conservative Tempo" at the start of the 4th quarter whether you are winning or losing. You can also run the clock down to :01 at the start of the 4th quarter. Those are the only times that you can run the clock down.
Rule 2. You can no huddle whenever you want EXCEPT after an incomplete pass.
Rule 3. You can only choose a special teams defense when the other team chooses a special teams offense (FG attempt or Punt). You cannot come out on goal line in FG block.
Rule 4. All shifts are allowed when dealing with the defense. You can crash the line, bump in run, shift the LB's left or right,
Rule 5. You can also hot route your defense whenever you want as well.
Rule 6. The defensive line is to ONLY be moved within the AUTOMATIC SHIFTS provided in the game NO MANUAL MOVEMENT of D-line. You are not allowed to move any DL-man, either laterally or vertically, manually before the snap. After the snap feel free to move him back into coverage.
Rule 8. When running the HB screen pass, you MUST throw the ball to your HB, run with your QB if its covered or throw the ball away. You CANNOT throw to the wide reciever.
4th Downs
Rule 1. A team may go for it on 4th down and inches at any time in the game, whether they are leading, tied, or trailing.
Rule 2. A team may go for it on 4th down and 1 yard if they are past the 50 and inside their opponents territory, at any time in the game, whether they are leading, tied, or trailing.
Rule 3. A team may go for it on 4th and any number of yards once they have got into "no mans land" between their opponents 30-40 yard line.
Rule 4. A team may go for it on 4th down and any number of yards from anywhere on the field if they are trailing in the 4th quarter by any amount.
Rule 5. A team may go for it on 4th down if it's the end of the 2nd quarter and if it's under 2 minutes in the 2nd quarter
Rule 6. A team may go for it on 4th down regardless of yards to go or location if it's under 2 minutes in the 4th quarter
(Any other time must be a field goal or a punt)
Fake FG/Punt
Rule 1. Only 1 Fake FG/Punt allowed in a game.
2-point Conversions
Rule 1. The player must disclose he is going to go for two points immediately in order to allow the opponent the opportunity to defend it unless it is a fake. If it is a fake the above rule allowing for only 1 fake per game is in effect.
Rule 2. A team may go for a 2-point conversion if it will tie the game.
Rule 3. A team may go for a 2-point conversion if it is the 4th quarter and the 2-point conversion will give them a 3 or 7-point lead.
Rule 4. A team may go for a 2 point conversion if it will make the point differential a multiple of 3 or 7 (ex. Down 21-12, a team can go for 2 to make it 21-14 or if up 18-10, and going for 2 would give a 10-point lead, etc)
(Any other time the XP must be kicked)
Position Changes
Before any questionable position changes, you will need to consult the members of the OD for understanding and accepting of the change. Anything built into the game is legal (ex. Dual HB Swap or Tackle Over Formation).
All rules are subject to change depending on how NCAA Football 11 performs.
Just remember don't do what would piss you off if it is used against you and most of all have fun. Do what Makes Sense

Since Amazon still has their $20 credit, I'm seriously considering pulling the trigger today. What type of time does it usually take a week for this type of league? If I do give in, I know I'll be the punching bag as I've never been a regular for Madden or NCAA.

I like to run a low stress league - recruiting can take 15-45 minutes per week ( depending more on how much you time you really want to put into recruiting - you can do recruiting an any computer don't have to do it on PS3) Plus you can set so that recruiting is done automaticly for you (not recommended) .The 1 weekly game itself usually clocks in between 30 minutes to an hour (depending on your tempo and play selection). If everyone gets done early I sometimes will advance early - but I keep everyone informed as far as what is going on.

However I will still not be Starting the Dynasty until that last week of July early August timeframe. I think everybody aready has it in their hands or have ordered it except for flhype (he told me he will pick it up this weekend) and nicholls82 (I don't remember when he said he was gonna get it).

If Shumway passes, I'd be willing to get in on it. No biggie if you don't need me, I'm not that good. I'd like to be Illinois or Oregon, whichever works best for you as those are my favorite teams.
Of course, this is assuming the head to head games would be played during the 8:00-11:00 PM Central Time window. I got little kids so it would be hard to play earlier and then obviously work makes it going much past 11:00 difficult. Maybe I'm too high of maintance anyway.
ANyway, if you need or want another one and the other options you have fall through, let me know. No hard feelings if you don't need/want me.

Got a mercy defeat last night playing when I was down 38-7 (ironically, I scored first too) in the 3rd quarter, but then I was Florida playing Oregon and fell behind 14-0 in the first quarter (and I thought...here I go again), but lost lost 14-7.........got into the Redzone when I turned the ball over on downs with less than 30 seconds left. I got some pride.

Re-updated the tentative schedule with Illinois thrown in the mix. In case you are wondering VT vs FSU and Michigan vs Illinois arent happening because they are conference games and I can't change the conference schedule unless I start moving teams across divisions(it becomes a mess) . The new tentative schedule gives everyone 5 head to head games and the possibility of a head to head conference championship (as long as you handle your business) Notre Dame gets 7 head to head games but no conference means no championship game.The Big East will add some teams (surprise) to make it into a 12 team conference with a championship game to be played at Lincoln Financial Field (outdoor) or the Carrier Dome (indoor). Also the Big 12 has no conference Championship game.

I'm only 2-6 online so far this year (although 3 of my losses were 'lost connections' when the score was tied or I was up). I've been blown out of 2 games bad, but I'm pretty decent in the close games.

My PS3 had the YLOD. Nothing to worry about though because I will be picking up a new slim tomorrow and dropping off the old phatty for repairs so I can do a system transfer. I will download the rosters tomorrow. I wan't planning on sending invites until next week sometime so that everyone would have some time to set up their preseason. has nicholls82 picked up a copy yet?

I never really understood what the YLOD actually was. I got a new slim in March, am I in danger of it? Is there something to protect against it?

YLOD is an issue with the phatty PS3. Overheating is what causes it . I haven't heard of any issues with the slims. I picked up my slim last night and dropped off my phatty for repairs. 10 days to 2 weeks for me to get her back. :(
I will send invites out and the first week is actually the preseason. You get to look at rosters , set your depth chart and do make sure you are ready.

I'd like to get the schedules set tonight or over the weekend that way I can advance and we can start Monday. Also I was informed last night that we may have somebody who is interested in our 12th spot - he may be interested in Clemson (since Michigan was already taken) - The ACC could end up being quite a competitive conference with 4 human teams.

No way man - I think the U has a talented team that can be dangerous in the hands of the right person. Plus it is in the recruit rich state of Florida. Overall the teams in the Dynasty right now are all decent - Pitt might be the weakest from a ratings standpoint - but they are still in the top 50 teams in the game. I think if Lostfan had stayed with Illinois he would have had the weakest team.

yeah, Pitt is definitely the weakest...plus recruiting there is going to suck compared to Oklahoma last year....I had 2 in the top 100 that were more than 40% interested in me...

I'm on 360, but I think the problems are cross-platform. My brother and I have been unable to even start an online dynasty and there are crazy freezing and crashing problems even if you can get the dynasty started.

Thanks, but I've heard of no issues with the PS3 version. I checcked a PS3 centic site (bluray.com) to sse if there was an isue with their dynasties and I haven't seen any mentions.

Our typical weeks, yes. I usually will advance the week late Monday night / early Tuesday morning (I shoot for midnight EST) to allow for players to get in a last minute game on Monday night if necessary. On weeks where everyone gets their games and recruiting in early, I will go ahead and advance the game early. I send everyone a PSN message about advancing, post on this thread whenever I advance and I will include the next 1 week deadline in those communications.
For example - if everyone gets done by Thursday I'd advance the week and inform everyone that the week has advanced and the new deadline to get everything done is next Thursday @ midnight.
If there is ever a problem communicate it to me and we can work things out.
For head to head games, the two involved just figure out a time to play the game.

Yup. You have a week to figure things out. Most of the regulars are online a couple of times a week so it is pretty easy to catch them and set up a game. I'd recommend having everyone in the Dynasty on your friends list as it make it easier to see if they are online.
Be careful too many missed head to head games or too many restarts can cause you to be booted from the Dynasty.

This is like real college football with cheating and everything, except the prize seems to be much less (at least personally Oregon boosters haven't contacted me with some 'incentives' to represent the University well in the DVDTalk Dynasty. Cheap bastards. I guess too much money is being funneled into the recruiting services in Texas to keep the talent pipeline flowing smoothly. Of course, as a digital Chip Kelly, I know nothing about that, just like my real life counterpart.

Everyone here plays pretty clean. In the last dynasty there was a game between nicholls82 and I where I was down by 10 in the 4th quarter and I was driving down the field. The game booted nicholls out at some point and let me keep playing. I won the game on the last possession. We tried to make the game up but couldn't get together again. another time i think r2 thought he had won a game against the AI but he was booted out and it was a loss when the week advanced.

Unfortunately I have zero control over the conference games (when I pull up the custom schedules there is a big red lock next to the conference games - as in my ass is locked out of changing stuff ) and you are in the unenviable position of having 2 H2H road conference games. I made sure everybody had 6 home and 6 away games overall and 5 H2H games. * I also made sure to split your non-conference games. The good news is should you continue into a second season - the schedule flips - and 4 of your H2H games are at home.
* - The only exception were the Big East Teams - For some reason WVU(nic44) had 9 conference games and only 4 H2H while PITT(ivelostr2) had 7 conference games and 6 H2H

Road victories are how you climb the polls faster. You can put me on the road for all my non conference games. If that home crowd we're facing gets too loud, I just hit mute on the tv and they are neutralized.
I'm more concerned about getting smacked around in this league. I haven't had the greatest success in my online play in NCAA 12, although online play is done on the highest level isn't it, while our league will be on varsity? Maybe that will help me, certainly will help my opponent.
BTW, I HATE that there is no manual to look hope how to do things in game. That was random, but it was from the heart, so it counts for something.

dont be too worried about us smacking you around. The people on the PSN, in my experience are either giant douches who throw the same pass over and over, go on 4th and 20 on their own 25, or people who are insanely skilled at the game. as far as the members of last year's 3 season dynasty (Nic44, Nicholls81, Cruz, and I), none of us are that good, and we don't talk smack in the heat of the moment (Well I do on Nic44, but trust me he deserves it).

EPIC FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON.
Tight game between LSU and WVU. Halftime score was a 7-7 tie. nic played a bend but don't break defense - I had three times where I was driving on him and he picked me off. He knocked my starting quarterback out for 3 quarters in the first quarter. I had four passes that were obvious ints including a sure pick 6 dropped. I score late in the 3rd quarter to take a 14-10 lead and on my next possession I am sacked and then take a safety to make the score 14-12. nic then runs the clock down while moving down the field and hits a 49 yard field goal that barely went in. He takes a 15-14 lead with 1:31 left on the clock. On the next series I throw an INT again. He moves the ball and kicks a short FG to make it 18-14 and leaves me 26 seconds on the clock with no time outs.
On the kickoff I let the ball go out of the endzone to not waste time. I start the drive @ the 20 and waste time with a incomplete pass.
I then throw a 20 yard reception to my receiver and he steps out with 15 seconds on the clock.
I throw a 20+ yard pas to my tight end and he steps out with 9 seconds on the clock.
I then throw another 20+ yard pass to my tight end and he fights to get to the three yard line with 3 seconds to go.
I call the hurry up get lined up and snap the ball with a second to go on the clock. I run a run play up the middle and my running back is tackeld @ the one yard line. (wrong play I wanted to run a dive and I hit the button for a draw)
Game Over - West Virginia serves up the upset special and wins 18-14. I threw 5 interceptions. nic played great. I pissed the bed.
On a good note I signed my top running back target - a 5 star Power back and the #3 HB.

That would be an hour later for you though, is that too late (never know people's work schedules, I have friends who work at 5 AM so they go to bed early, others that don't go in until 9 and they are always up late).

I think with NCAA11 there had only been two games where there was an issue with someone being signed out over 3 seasons. If something happens let me know immediately

My concern also. MY DNF% is 30% on NCAA 12 and I have NEVER quit a game by my own doing, just sometimes I 'lose my connection.' Once my opponent 'lost his connection'.

One final tuneup last night before kicking off our season tonight vs. Miami. We learned somethings about ourselves such as our 2 minute defense sucks, butter puts up better resistance against a hot knife. We also learned that we have some SERIOUS issues in the kicking game. TWO (yes 2) missed extra points. I'm not sure why I can't master kicking and I should add that a 3rd extra point hit the upright and bounced in. Needless to say until these issues are fixed, our kicker will have very limited range in what we allow him to go for. Its just down and up right when you kick? That's all, no more free scouting for Miami. Good luck to the "U", although we do hope you fall a little short. Beware the Duck.

Played my first match last night against what would be nicholls82's PSU at Happy Valley. Talk about a frustrating first half, I couldn't score squat, though I did only allow them 2 FGs. Was down 9-0 until I managed a couple of rushing TDs in the 4th, including a 76 yarder. Ended up squeaking out a 14-12 Victory.
They called me for something like 4 Holding Calls in 6 plays at one stretch. I was getting really pissed. I ended up with something like 100+ yards in penalties. Is there something that I might have somehow done to cause that? So far as I know I have no control over my linemen holding or not.

Last year I missed a ton of field goals...there is a delay online which makes it tougher.

We learned somethings about ourselves such as our 2 minute defense sucks, butter puts up better resistance against a hot knife. We also learned that we have some SERIOUS issues in the kicking game. TWO (yes 2) missed extra points. I'm not sure why I can't master kicking and I should add that a 3rd extra point hit the upright and bounced in. Needless to say until these issues are fixed, our kicker will have very limited range in what we allow him to go for. Its just down and up right when you kick? That's all, no more free scouting for Miami. Good luck to the "U", although we do hope you fall a little short. Beware the Duck.

Miami/Oregon was postponed due to severe weather until Monday 9 PM CST (10 PM EST). We were all set to go and excited, but thegloomypickle had bad weather and lost power/internet connection and wasn't able to get online last night to play the game.

Did my recruiting this afternoon. Signed a running back already. Started off appealing to the guys that had Oregon #1, then it was more fun to go after guys that I wasn't even in their top 3. Although, I didn't experience much success so not really sure the fun paid off. Then again, I've never done this recruiting thing before anyway, so what do I know?
What happens if you don't keep your promises? Along with significant playing time, conference championship, I promised dates with supermodels, BBQs at my house on non major holidays, and free pony rides. It was in the 'write in promise section'

Agreed........... so you lost connection too eventually? Rough night for EA servers. My connection was lagging all night it seemed. I of course missed my extra point, but I couldn't even punt worth a like, terrible. We jumped out to the early lead and then (and here's the optimist in me) set ourselves up for a classic comeback, the kind that can really spur a season. I was turnover free, which as those of you who follow my online play closely can atest, is very good for me.
Now it comes down to the fate of the sim..........
Maybe we just weren't meant to play, Thursday night your power/internet is down, Monday, I lose connection, you try and finish the game, you lose connection. If we meet in a bowl game, we'd better plan on 5 straight days of availability to get our game in.
Definately not the beginning of the dynasty I envisioned.

Good game last night. Scoring got off to a fast start. First play from scrimage for the Longhorns - 70+ yard TD run. First play for the Tigers - a 80+ yard Kickoff return TD. :banana:. 1st quarter score was 14-14. 2nd quarter - both teams played defense. I threw 2 ints and was stopped by Texas and I forced Texas to punt lots. 14-14 halftime score.
After the half first play was an 80+ yard kickoff return TD :banana: (deja vu ? ). On my next series I threw my 3rd INT and decided I was going to pound the ball from then on, which I did. I sucked up the clock and ran right down field. 3rd quarter score 21-14
I scored early in the 4th to take a 28-14 lead and then yawmush hits a big pass and then breaks a bunch of tackles on a long TD run to cut into my lead 28-21. I then engineer a long run dominating drive that finishes off in a TD pass to pad my lead 35-21. I then stop Texas and score a meaningless last second TD run. Tigers take lots of slow little bites out of the steak and win 42-21.
Yawmush never turned the ball over while I threw 3 INTs and alomost fumbled the ball away in the 2nd half. His running back had more yards on 3 plays (200 yds) than my entire run offense did over the course of the game (193 yds). I'm starting to question whether my play selection is that bad or if the settings for interceptions is too high - I've thrown 8 picks in 2 games.

I'm in the Central Time Zone.....St. Louis to be exact, well that's not actually exact because I'm not in the city limits, but I am St. Louis county.
I will try for tonight. My kids bedtime is usually 8:00 but we're taking them to the pool tonight so we might be running a late (as we usually are when we do something out in the evening). I'll get on as soon as I can and if you're on and available, we'll play. Otherwise I'll message you with more suggestions. If I had to guess, I'd guess 8:30-9:00 is a bit more realistic for me, but you never know. Sometimes we're running on time.
Go easy on you, I'm looking like the doormat of this league. Promise you won't laugh when I start missing extra points and punting the ball 12 yards. I'll have to double check the rules to see when I can start going for two if I continue to shank extra points.

8/12/11 - 12:01am - Despite the ruling by the NCAA that the Longhorn Network may not carry high school games, there are a couple reports that Texas A&M to the SEC is a "done deal". The main outlet reporting this is AggieYell.com in the Rivals.com Network. However, Chip Brown (who is easily the authority when it comes to anything coming out of the Big12) with OrangeBloods.com said Texas A&M System spokesman Jason Cook denied reports that A&M has already agreed to join the SEC.
On 8/22 the A&M regents board will meet and are expected vote on an application to join the SEC. The move to a new conference could happen as early as 2012. Brown also reports that nine-member regents board is leaning toward leaving the Big 12.
Unless the Big12 pulls off another Hail Mary like they did last year, it's starting to look more and more like A&M will jump ship to the SEC. So where does that leave FSU?
As we reported yesterday, there is a decent chance the SEC could extend an "unofficial" invitation to FSU to join the SEC and would become part of the eastern division. However, there are other schools being considered as well, including OU in the Big12. However, most don't expect the Sooners to consider the SEC - they would likely stick with Texas or worst case join the Pac10.
Virginia Tech and Clemson are being thrown around as "possibilities". Part of this could be whether the SEC is looking to expand to a 14 or 16-team conference.
In any event, look for Florida to attempt to block FSU's admittance into the conference. However, I've been told it will only take a 2/3rds vote to accept a school's application for admittance. Does UF have enough pull to convince three other SEC schools to deny the Seminoles? Not sure, but I kind of doubt it.
On FSU's end, there doesn't appear to be much question on what would happen if that unofficial invitation finds its way to Tallahassee. The 'Noles will be done with the ACC and will jump ship.

I don't think it matters that much as some players are just destined to end up at the clown school. I'd love to see it because I don't think that FSU could hang year in and year out and that would be the reason they don't join.

This is such crap. FLHYPE and I played tonight, in the first game it was a competive 7 point game (although I did specialize in giving up the BIG play, so I was happy to be in it) in the 3rd quarter when I was dropped completely out of the PSN (DSN or DSF error something). We restarted our game and it was a defensive struggle until I started giving up the big play, mounted a small comeback, but the game was all but over (if not for the 3 minutes left on the clock, I had no chance) as I was down a lot when I was ONCE AGAIN dropped out of the PSN (same error).
I feel terrible, its not fair to FLHYPE who had me beat. I messaged him to finish vs. the computer so he could get the win he deserved, hopefully he was able to do it. Its not fair to play him again and if I were to win, when he clearly had me beat in the 2nd game (of course, who knows if I'd be able to finish the game).
Seriously, I don't get it. My DNF% on NCAA12 is 27% and I've never quit a game, always been dropped to get to that percent. I've now played 3 games in this dynasty and been dropped each time. I never get dropped in recruiting. Never get dropped when I play MLB Show 11, or NHL 11 (I think one time I was and I played the heck out of that game), and have never been dropped playing a non sports game online, so I have no idea what gives.
If you want to kick me out of the league, I understand. I feel terrible, like I've become a liability. I'm playing these games thinking 'just let me finish it and not get kicked off'. It wouldn't be as bad if I was winning when I was kicked off (although I'd still be pissed), but at least my opponent would get the 2nd chance instead of getting screwed and me getting it. I'M NOT QUITTING ON PURPOSE BECAUSE I"M LOSING, I don't care about losing (well,I'd rather win naturally, but its a video game for fun).
I'm really at a loss, I can't explain it, I don't understand it. My internet on my computer is never down/dropped when I lose my connection on my PS3.
I want to play, but no hard feelings if you're like Lostfan is just too frustrating and unreliable. I get it, it pisses me off way more than you.

It's weird, the PSN never does this in my experience, except for EA sports games...Hockey and NCAA have issues with headsets and getting booted that I've never had with any other games on the PSN...that said, I have had 0.0 (ZERO POINT ZERO) issues with this years NCAA.

The first time I hurt him you scrambled to the sideline and I hit him after he threw, I actually did that a couple times, but you are right, the time he was knocked out for good, I hit him in the pocket.

I mentioned earlier in the thread that I get logged out frequently from the ESPN network and when that happens the game counts as started but can't be saved as complete. I actually only had to restart once so I really don't know why it says twice. Out of four games that I have played through the online network I am 50/50 getting through them. This is one of the reasons that I really didn't want to bother with an online league and it is already showing. Oh well!

I actually only had to restart once so I really don't know why it says twice. Out of four games that I have played through the online network I am 50/50 getting through them. This is one of the reasons that I really didn't want to bother with an online league and it is already showing. Oh well!

Hey Lost don't take it so hard, you play just fine and will win plenty of games(having Oregon helps) just take at look at your safeties, they left me open all day. As for PSN- this is the reason why XBOX is better because they can handle large amounts of people playing online better. I see why PSN is free.
I'm not worried about the winning, the victories will come. Just got a find the right defense call to fix the middle of the field. Time to recruit some safeties. Hopefully the boosters have some petty cash (untraceable of course) lying around.
I'm just frustrated with the getting dropped contanstly. I'm becoming 'that guy' as in 'you know that guy that you don't want to play because he never finishes his games because he's always getting dropped.'
Its not bad to be 'that guy' if its 'that guy will crush you in NCAA', but that's not 'that guy' that I am yet.
Although on the upside, I'm 2 games into our season and no one has seen the Ducks amazing ability to close out games in the final 2 minutes. Still a mystery to everyone. Good luck game planning that with no film. Ha, advantage Ducks!

Looks like everyone is ready except for TheGloomyPickle who has to finish up his recruiting.
I've noticed a couple of trends that I will tweak to balance the game a bit more.
Completion percentage is terrible - I believe there has been only one team with a completion percentage above 50%. I will increase the QB accuracy 10 points
Interceptions are really high - there have been multiple games with 3+ INT's per game and the defense is almost psychic. I am dropping interceptions by 10 points mulling whether to drop pass defense by 5 points.
Rushing yard averages are high - I will be increasing the rush defense and tackling by 5 points.
If i notice any other trends i will continue to let you guys know.

I'm with R2. I can't pass worth anything, so maybe you should increase that. I am, however, happy with rushing as it's the only thing I'm good at!

Cruz, just because you can't complete all of your passes to your tight end doesn't mean it is broken. I think I only have 1 or 2 interceptions in 2 games. I think my defense has 6 or 7. Throw better passes.

Just played my game vs. Baylor and won in a squeeker 42-34 (Baylor threw all over me, while I ran all over them). Probably close to 20 penalties all game if I had to guess........roughing the passer, lots of facemasks, a few clipping, and a ton of holds. LaMichael James got hurt (just for 2 quarters thankfully) and Barnes had to finish up, but he did admirably.
After I exited the game, it went to our dynasty screen and said "TRANSFERRED FAILED, ONLINE DYNASTY NOT AVAILABLE". I could see in the background it had me down as winning, so I don't know if my game is really saved or not. It gave me the option to try again, which I did multiple times but with the same message. I'll try one more time when I go up, then its off to bed. Obviously its not an internet problem as here I am on this..............so perhaps the curse of NCAA for me continues. Hopefully my game is saved. I doubt it however with my luck.

Yeah, I'm 3 weeks into the recruiting and not really digging it too much. Its alright, doesn't take too long so I'll probably keep doing it, but its not that exciting. Guess I'm more of an 'on the field' kind of guy. Although I do enjoy taking points away from other schools. I also enjoy making all kinds of promises..........hope my recruits don't talk to each other, not sure how all my qb recruits can get significant playing time their first year! HAHAHA, promise them the world, that's what I say........then use 'em and lose 'em. College football at its finest. Heck, if I make them too good, they'll leave me for the pros.

I had problems when I played Miami too.................. hmmmm, after all their bad press recently, do they really need theories about screwing with opponents on NCAA 12? Then again, I had trouble with Florida State so, so maybe its a Florida thing.
In all seriousness, the good news is I no longer feel like I'm the only defunked one in this league.

I used to get booted all the time from NHL and when i plugged a 50 foot ethernet cabel in it stopped booting me...might not be your issue though.

Yeah... I had the same experience as R2. As soon as I hardwired the PS3 my connection improved and my disconnects decreased. If you're able I definitely recommend running a cable.
