how many episodes are we getting this run? your post, djariya, seems to suggest it is only four. unless i'm misunderstanding the 16-18 comment.

But, the season will be split, not sure when the stopping point is for the summer season.

Ahhhh. That makes sense. Like last time. We got 7 and 9, I believe. Thanks.

The whole CIA plot with Michael and Fi babysitting the asset with the wandering eye was lame. I did like Fi driving almost 140 MPH on the freeway and scaring the shit out of him. I'm guessing that Grant Show (Max) will be the recurring guest star this season similar to Robert Wisdom's role last season.
The plot with the missing girls, Yakuza and exploring some history with Michael's Dad was solid. I was actually a little uncomfortable when Michael started yelling and pushing around Maddie.
And finally! Michael and Fi's relationship moves forward.

I'm confused here. I've got 2 new episodes on my DVR. One called Bloodlines and one called Mind Games. Both appear to be new, but one recorded thursday night and one recorded saturday morning.

Mind Games airs this Thursday, so you may need to do a manual record.

This show has always been kind of lite, breezy and cheesy and this one was no different. The CIA subplot prevented the tone of the episode from getting too dark with the victim of the week storyline and had a few fun parts (blindfold racing), I actually enjoyed the fact it got a little darker, meaner than usual (the family history bits)
Overall, really entertaining episode.

This episode felt like an intense play between Michael and his mom, pulling back the layers of past family issues.

Was reading some reviews and had to laugh at how much they vary -- with many stating it was the best episode in a long time, and others claiming the series is now dead to them. Apparently some people don't like Mike being a dick.

How's the season so far? I haven't been super interested in checking out the new episodes recorded so far, but I'm sure I'll get around to it eventually.

You better be careful or you might catch TallGuyMe syndrome and let 7-8 episodes build up and try to find excuses not to watch them.
