So I am jumping into the 3D market. I am looking between 55-60 inch. I like the way plasma looks but was blown away at how good LCD and LED looked..but way more expensive. Im going to to with active. Anyone recommend a good set? looking to spend about 1,700 to 2K. I heard the pannys are great but Im thinking I want to stay away from plasma as they have more ghosting/crosstalk?

Quite the opposite. Plasmas have little to no ghosting/crosstalk compared to LCD/LED. Panny plasmas are very good in this area, by the way.

At your price point, you can find many great sets.
