speaker cable v.s. subwoofer cable

I'm buying a powered subwoofer for my system and I plan to use my spare Monster cable (the other one is connected to center). However, I found out Monster Cable offers subwoofer cable right now and it costs twice as much as original one. Does subwoofer cable worth it?
