Just watched Set it Off for the first time and wow, are you freakin kidding me? The Town was a DIRECT ripoff of F Gary Grey's 1996 film!!!

Exhibit A:

Set it Off is a movie about 4 African American females who come from a poor neighborhood get together to rob banks. In the Town, 4 Boston Irish males come from a poor neighborhood get together to rob banks.

Exhibit B:

In both movies each of the 4 die in the exact way

1st dies from gunshot(s)

2nd dies when they drive a car into a police blockade

3rd dies when the 4th one watches

4th lives and contacts the person WHO THEY MET IN THE BANK!

Sheer coincidence? I think NOT! Damn, and I was almost ready to call TT an original masterpiece. Oh well, try coming up with an original screenplay and script next time, Ben

I seem to remember one of the plot points is that one of the ladies is a janitor who can't afford a babysitter so she takes her kid to work, and the kid drinks draino and then is taken away from her. I mean, jeez, could you be more manipulative?
