$9 for 2 Fandango Movie Tickets @ Livingsocial
This deal is back again! Thread title say it all. Already over 500K buys and it is limited to 1M so go get yours. I know the last deal said it excluded 3D and IMAX but I was able to use mine successfully for both (YMMV).

i got in on the deal, but didn't read the fine print:
i assumed that if it's 2 separate codes, they could be used on separate transactions (like the GroupOn deal a couple months ago).
Both tickets must be purchased for the same movie and show time in a single transaction

I got mine today and it's one code. You can get a $5 credit by creating an account and sending out a referral to another account making the total $4 for 2 tickets.

the sucky thing is that there is only 1 movie theater within 20 miles of me that even takes this. such a pita to deal with so i'm gonna probably pass.

Yeah, I only have one theater within a reasonable distance that uses fandango too. All the others in the area use movietickets.com

Question if I don't use this by September and getting the $9 value off. Would I have to buy 2 tickets to get the $9 off, or could I get $9 off a single ticket?

Awesome deal! I used mine for my wife and I to see "The Green Lantern 3D." Fandango ticket cost came to $30 for both of us. I put in the Living Social code and was only charged 50 cents. That was nice because all through the movie I could be happy that I didn't pay $30...
