In between doing yardwork and cooking out with the fam, I'll probably flip between "Seinfeld" and "Law & Order". The latter tends to suck me in, though, so that could be very dangerous to my productivity.

I know what you mean about L&O. I start to watch an episode and then when I need to do something cannot get up until I see the conclusion...

Oh, and what a shock, USA running an NCIS marathon? I love the show but do they have nothing else to run? Every weekend there's a marathon for that show.

I absolutely hate NCIS. Never understood why it's ever been popular. I was hoping for an SVU marathon actually.

As I said, I love the show but the USA marathons are overkill.

Re: Memorial Day 2011 marathons

My wife has been watching Secret life of an american teenager all day and it's the worst piece of garbage I've ever seen with the absolute most unlikeable characters of all time. Is this show seriously marketed to pre teens? I don't think a single character has any kind of moral grounds but they assume they can get away with that by having one of the characters spew on for 10 seconds before the commercial break "parent's now is the time to talk to you're child about sex, the first step in preventing teenage pregnancies is you" and yet the show has absolutely nothing to do with that righteous moral statement they made. I don't normally get mad about this kind of stuff but if I had a kid and saw them watching this I would be mighty pissed off.

Been watching a crap-ton of River Monsters this weekend. Now I know to skip the first 45 minutes because he only makes the "big catch" at the end of each episode.

It is a useful show if you are into drinking games and want to get crocked fast. Just pick "Sex" as the word, and you should be hammered in ten minutes.

Since that Raisa chick is in her 20's it doesn't hurt that she is, as my Da might say, built like a brick shithouse.

Re: Memorial Day 2011 marathons

I was surprised Band of Brothers wasn't on as they usually run it over the Memorial Day weekend.
