Inside episode 9 video off AMC's web site.

It's a good little watch. The actors talk about what happened last week. If you haven't seen episode 9 yet, don't watch the video.

I really liked this episode. It was nice to get back more to the human element of the story, and having the case get back to basics.
Seems like Linden really, really lost it before. I hope they elaborate on that.
Suspect wise, I have never been more confused as to who may have done it. I got nothing.

With the relevations in this episode, I don't see how they can wrap up this story in three more episodes...at least at the pace they've been going at. So there is now another Richmond connection...I'll take a jump here and guess that Senator Eaton (Charles Widmore) owns the casino or is tied in with it somehow. I'd be fine if they don't reveal the killer this season as long as they get a second season to continue the story.

Weird that they left us hanging about whether or not that rock survived the beating. I guess we'll find out next week.

I don't understand how people still thought Belko was the suspect in the first place. I felt really sorry for that character, though. Just turned out to be an awkward guy who wanted to belong somewhere.

I don't know what to make of this now; I still hope it's resolved this season, though. Personally, I don't have the patience to watch this draw out, especially if it remains a summer series and we have to wait until next spring to resume the storyline.

Good episode. They advanced the story in a really smart way.
I think they can close the story in three episodes, yes, they seem to be going in circles sometimes, but those circles seem to be getting smaller every time, you know what I mean? It should be pretty clear now that the killer or the person that ordered the killing is a list of two or three people: the aunt (she's the only one close enough to be able to empty the bank accounts), Ritchmond (he had a relationship with Rosie and it went sour), someone else I'm missing right now, but like I said the pool of real candidates is really small now.

Wasn't it Stan that emptied the accounts for the house he was buying?

that or he lost the money gambling while trying to parlay it into more.
I also thought the aunt may have lost it gambling, because of her comment to the kids while talking about the dad beating up the teacher. Something like people sometimes do the wrong thing for the right reason (paraphrased). the look she had on her face made me think she was also talking about herself somehow.

They can wrap it in three episodes because, true to the realistic nature of the series, sometimes a clue or break happens in a case that brings us to the resolution suddenly. Really getting into this series but agree that it needs to wrap up this case this season.

And there's no way they don't wrap this up this season.

i've been recording this series and caught up on the first 10 over the long weekend...LOVE it. it's got a vibe very similar to British mystery series - what many Americans think is "slow and boring" is that British kind of "deliberate and atmospheric" storytelling that I love. I have absolutely no idea who the baddy is, but as long as it's someone we've met up till now i'm good no matter what. if they pull a random person out of nowhere in the last episode i'll be pissed.
my guess for no particular reason? The Mayor.

I liked this episode a lot. I like the digging for clues stuff that made the first few episodes great before it slowed down to a snails pace while they were hunting down Bennet. This was more like it.
I'm hoping we know who the killer is and it isn't someone that we haven't met yet. It would kind of ruin the whole "who is it" we've been doing all season.

Now I have to doubt it was Belko? Argh! He was my number one suspect so far. I am still calling the aunt as I did in previous weeks. Something's still up with her. Now we have a small possibility with the mayor?

I don't think the mayor is a small possibility. He's been a major player since the first episode.
I really think this show will end on a downer. I think Richmond will be involved with Rosie's death and win the election or lose the election and end up totally innocent.
