Lock up
Best.
Prison.
Movie.
Ever.
Should've gotten an oscar nomination for best picture, and blows away all other prison movies *including* the overrated Shawshank(And yes I'm being totally serious). Stallone, Sutherland, and Amos were all at the top of their game in this film. Sutherland in particular should have been nominated for best supporting actor.
If there was ever a prison movie that is CRIMINALLY underrated, it's Lock Up.

Re: Lock up
I like the part where the warden allows the cons access to dangerous tools to rebuild a car, only for the purpose of the warden later ordering it destroyed out of spite.

Re: Lock up
The only memory I have of this movie is the slo-mo stabbing scene. I was watching this movie (The week it first came out on video) and had the volume up pretty high. Stallone's slowed-down grunts caused my sister to come out of her room to see if I was watching a porno.
