I hope Alaric and Jeremy get some bigger roles next year. I felt like they were budding vampire hunters in season 1, and they've both mostly taken the back burner this season. Jeremy may be the most helpless - albeit brave - character on the show.

My biggest question going into tonight is whether what's-her-name (Alaric's gf) is now a vampire or if she revived because of a magic ring.
I think I'd like to see Klaus actually break the curse and let vampire-werewolf hybrids become a recurring menace next season.

Wow, that was an intense episode. Felt like the season finale. Sad to see Jenna go, should have been Bonnie instead.

I guess they're slimming down the cast with Jenna, John Gilbert, and maybe Matt leaving.

Woahhh that was good. I can't believe they did that to Jenna.
Loved how Bonnie whipped some ass.

Wow! That was so good and intense as hell. It indeed felt like a season finale, especially with the way it ended at the cemetary.

I have to say the ritual scene and Elena seeing Jenna killed by Klaus was really heartbreaking. I liked Jenna even though in the grander scheme of things, she probably didn't really serve a purpose for the show.

Bonnie was badass in that scene.

How did John help Elena at the end? I just saw him walk away after she woke up and then literally drop dead. Was it the ring?

The finale is going to be amazing. Hopefully we find out more what Klaus and Elijah are up to next.

He told a story earlier in the episode about a mother transferring her life essence to her child so I'm assuming that's what him and Bonnie were doing.

Yeah, he gave his life force to Elena so that she would come back to life rather than her die and become a vampire, which is what he despised most.

Cool, thanks. I wasn't sure if Elena was dead or not after Klaus bit her neck during that ritual.

Does this mean that Catherine is gonna be stuck in that one room forever unless Klaus comes back? Gonna miss Jenna. I like Elijah, hoping he comes back next season.

Another great episode. It amazing how they always kill characters and then bring in new as good ones.

I thought Elena would be the one to die and have Katerina take her place.

This was a pretty sad episode, especially John's letter to Elena at the end. That was nicely done.

Great episode all around, with the whole cast getting some good screentime.

As good as this was, I have a feeling next week will be epic.
