The show hasn't missed a beat after those Mentalist reruns!
Kudos to Alicia for being able to bite her tongue right after Jackie's parting words. That damn mother in-law deserved a big SLAP in the face for deflecting the blame (much like her son) on the breakdown of their marriage.
It will be interesting to see what Peter's plans are for Cary. With his ego, I thought it was very fitting that Cary didn't want to return to Lockhart/Gardner as a second year associate.
"...so when all the king's horses and all the king's men came to the castle, they were charged exorbitant prices."
Double dose of Martha Plimpton last nite - both she and Julianna are having a pretty good year!

Great episode, as usual. This show, for me, is the top show that I watch. It's always on its game, the acting and character development is great. I can't wait to see what happens next episode after every single one.
While I would have loved it if Alicia would have layed into Jackie after her scathing parting comment, I'm kind of glad she didn't as she's showing she's the better person. Though I did like her reaction to Peter's parting comments and the little dig she got in at him.
I too am curious about what Cary is up to in meeting with Peter. I would have liked to see him return to L&G, but I think that his character would have been put on the back burner.
I also was wondering about missing a scene from the teaser promos in where Alicia asked Kalinda about sleeping with Peter. Either it was a scene that got dropped from the episode, or its a scene in an upcoming episode. I think I recall seeing it in the promo before next weeks episode as well.
I really like the dynamic of Alicia and Kalinda and hope that isn't gone.
It's going to be a long summer, just like last summer was, waiting for the next season.
